Tecno Pova Curve 5G with starships-inspired design launched in India

The device comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate SoC.

The Transsion Holdings subsidiary, Tecno, today unveiled Pova Curve 5G in India today. It features a back panel design inspired by the aerodynamic form of starships with a triangular-shaped rear camera island. The smartphone has a curved AMOLED display and several AI-based features. The device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate SoC.

Tecno Pova Curve 5G features, specifications

The Pova Curve 5G has a 6.78-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The panel supports a 144 Hz refresh rate, has a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8%, and is wet-hand touch compatible. It features a starship-inspired design and an ultra-slim 7.45mm curved frame. Its 55° curve creates a premium in-hand feel and futuristic appeal. It comes in three vibrant colours: Magic Silver, Neon Cyan, and Geek Black.

It has a 64MP back camera with a Sony IMX682 sensor, a secondary camera, and a 13MP front camera. It can capture 4K videos and is dust and water resistant to IP64 standards.

Tecno Pova Curve 5G features, specifications

The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor that supports up to 8GB of RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM. The phone runs HiOS 15, which is based on Android 15. The firm promised an Android 16 upgrade and two years of security patches. It has artificial intelligence and support for Indian languages. It supports smart answers, voice input, and content suggestions in several regional languages. The gadget also has industry-first AI features such as AI Voiceprint Suppression, AI Auto Call Answering, AI Call Assistant, and India’s First No Network Communication, which ensures clear calls even in noisy environments.

For the best network experience, the phone comes with 5G++, VoWiFi Dual Pass, 86.5% antenna coverage, real-time signal optimisation, and an Intelligent Signal Hub System.

The POVA Curve has a 5500mAh battery with TÜV Rheinland Long Range Certification, capable of over 1800 charging cycles and 45W rapid charging, which allows it to charge up to 50% in 15 minutes and 100% in 45 minutes.

Tecno Pova Curve 5G price in India and availability

The Tecno Pova Curve 5G has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option and Rs 16,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. The phone will be available for purchase via Flipkart.
