With the addition of animated message effects, users may now enhance the vibrancy and expressiveness of their chats. Subscribers to Telegram Premium have access to hundreds of additional effects with Premium stickers. It is now possible to add captions atop media, guaranteeing that punchlines and drawings appear where they make sense. With just one press, users can now send a message, initiate a call, or add a phone number as a contact thanks to the addition of Quick Actions for Phone Numbers.
In order to provide a more comprehensive perspective of relevant content, Hashtag Search has been upgraded to incorporate results from large public channels. Messages from private chats are not included in global searches, although users can peruse these results as a scrollable feed or shortlist. The introduction of Collapsible Quotes allows users to hide sections of text within messages, maintaining message concision while providing readers with the opportunity to enlarge and read more.

After the popularity of dynamic backgrounds and stylish animations for voice and video calls on Android and iOS, Colorful Calls are now accessible on macOS. With this version, desktop calls will be both more visually appealing and resource-efficient.
Message Effects
Telegram now allows users to add animated effects to their messages, users can choose from six free effects. Telegram Premium subscribers gain access to hundreds more, including all effects from Premium stickers. To add an effect, simply press and hold the Send arrow and pick the emotion that matches your message.
Captions Above Media
Telegram users will be able to position captions above media. To move a caption, select media in the attachment menu, type a caption, press and hold the Send arrow, and select ‘Move Caption Up’. This feature is also available when editing media or albums.

Tapping a phone number in a chat now opens a redesigned menu, offering quick options to send a message, start a call, or add the number as a contact with just one tap. This enhancement simplifies the process of connecting with new contacts.

Using new global hashtag search, finding #important messages or exploring topics like #news and #travel is becoming easier. Tapping a hashtag in any chat now includes results from big public channels. Users can browse these results as a scrollable feed or a compact list. Messages from private chats remain excluded from global searches, maintaining user privacy.
Collapsible Quotes
With Collapsible quotes, users can hide fragments of text within messages.
Adding a collapsible quote is straightforward: format the quote and tap the collapse button in the input field.
Colorful Calls on macOS
