A new Telegram update is rolling out which brings video stickers, better reactions with compact animations and extra emoji, a button to review unseen reactions, improved navigation between chats and more. Telegram users will now be able to make animated stickers from videos. The instant messaging app has also introduced more emojis to their collection.
With the new update, Telegram has introduced video stickers. The users will now be able to create stickers from ordinary videos using any video editing tool. As always, you may use the @Stickers bot to publish your packs — or add some of the new sets created by others. More information may be found in the Video Sticker Manual. The Sticker Import API allows developers to create sophisticated apps for producing and importing stickers to Telegram.
Telegram is also offering better reactions. Press and hold on to a reaction in the menu to deliver a greater effect. Reactions, like interactive emoji, are now synced, so the receivers can view the animations in real-time.
The instant messaging app has also added 5 more additional reactions. These reactions are also available as interactive emoji. Send a single or to any private conversation, then touch on the animated emoji to activate a fullscreen effect.
In addition to this Telegram’s in-app navigation has also been enhanced. To return to a specific chat after bouncing through unread channels or switching between chats, press and hold the ‘Back’ button. When you open conversations through forwarded messages, URLs, usernames, profiles, and so on, they are added to the list.
Finally, with this upgrade, the instant messaging service has provided a slew of bug fixes and enhancements. Telegram has improved call quality, added support for translation to Instant View pages (and bios on iOS), added the option to send silent messages from the sharing menu – and dozens of other improvements. When you press an icon on the tab bar on iOS, you’ll notice new animations.
