The Nothing Phone 3 video teaser suggests a Glyph Matrix on the back panel.

The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC.

Although the release of the Nothing Phone 3 is still a few weeks away, the business has been revealing important information about the handset. Recently, Nothing disclosed the Phone 3’s processor and software specs. Nothing Phone 3 is believed to have a triple rear camera. However, it has now published a teaser video featuring a new LED element on the rear panel that will replace the Glyph Interface. The Glyph Matrix is likely to contain animations. The iPhone 3 launch is scheduled for July 1.

According to the most recent video teaser, the Nothing Phone 3 will have a new LED element on the back panel, just like the phones in the Asus ROG series. It will replace the Nothing Phone 2 and Phone 1 devices with a “Glyph Matrix” interface on the back. Instead of the Glyph LED interface, the new LED interface is a dot-matrix panel that occupies space in the upper right corner of the rear panel.

Call notifications, battery level, time, and other alerts are all displayed on Asus’ ROG phones, which also have a dot matrix system with mini-LEDs for animations and interactions.

Akis Evangelidis, Head of Marketing and co-founder of Nothing, has made references to the company’s Nothing Phone 3 software update policy. Five years of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security fixes will be included in the “5 and 7” software update for the phone. Compared to Nothing’s prior software support cycles, this is a major improvement.

According to Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC will power the Nothing Phone 3. In comparison to the Nothing Phone 2, which employs a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, the new chipset is anticipated to increase CPU performance by 36%. Additionally, there will be an 88% and 60% improvement in GPU and NPU performance, respectively.

A 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with OIS capability, a triple rear camera unit with an ultrawide and periscope telephoto lens, a bigger 5,000 mAh battery, and a 6.77-inch AMOLED display are all speculated features of the Nothing Phone 3.

Leaks suggest that the phone will be sold on Flipkart in India and can come in two different versions: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. The prices of these models are likely to be $799 (Rs 69,188.21) and $899 (Rs 77,847.56), respectively.
