With Double Date, the post-date recap does not have to wait—it begins as soon as the date ends.

Tinder has added a feature called ‘Double Date’ that allows users to form groups and connect with other pairs, making dating more enjoyable, social, and low-pressure. This update expands on the popularity of Tinder Matchmaker and Share My Date, reflecting Gen Z’s preferences for dating with support, spontaneity, and less pressure. During testing, over 90% of Double Date profiles were created by persons under the age of 29.

Tinder has launched Double Date, a new feature that enables users to team up and connect with other pairs. This low-pressure, group-first dating strategy is a fun and social way to meet new people. Double Date claims to turn the Swipe experience into a shared, light-hearted journey, making dating more pleasurable and less stressful.

Double Date is a simple and fun feature on Tinder that allows users to invite up to three friends to create a pair. Users can then match up by liking the pairs that match their energy, and if a match is found, a group chat is created.
