UC Web launches UC Cleaner booster app for Android

UCWeb has introduced UC Cleaner, an app booster which helps in optimizing the performance of Android smartphone. The company states that the app has received half a million monthly active users in its initial beta stage.

Speaking about the device, James Wong, Product Manager, UC Cleaner, said, “As smartphones become ubiquitous, we are highly dependent on cleaner apps to manage usage. However, many Android cleaner apps themselves are large in size and resource-intensive, which is contrary to their original intention. UC Cleaner is compact in size but does not compromise on functionality. With UC Cleaner, we’re taking a new approach to boosting performance while minimizing extra burden on the system.”

The UC Cleaner comes with a simple and add-free UI and is designed to free RAM and close various apps which slow down the working of the smartphone. The app has a Super Booster feature which disables the auto starting apps. Along with this, it is also able to analyze the battery, data and storage usage in order to help the users in identifying and deleting the junk files from the smartphone.
