Vivo has been launching new smartphones quite rapidly in India. The Chinese smartphone company launched Vivo S1 in India today. Prior to its launch in India, the company had already launched the smartphone in China. The key highlights of the smartphone include MediaTek Helio P65 SoC, a triple rear camera setup, a 4,500mAh battery along with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Vivo recently launched the global variant of Vivo S1 in Indonesia, too. Here are all the details you need to know about the price as well as the specifications of the mobile handset.

The Vivo S1 has been launched in three variants with 4GB RAM/128GB storage,  and 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. The 4GB RAM along with 128GB of internal storage will come at a price tag of Rs 17,999. While the high-end 6GB RAM with 64GB of onboard storage variant can be purchased at Rs 18,990 while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant can be bought for Rs 19,990

The latest smartphone by Vivo has been introduced in two colour options Skyline Blue and Diamond Black colour.

The smartphone will be available on e-commerce website Amazon, Flipkart as well as Vivo India e-Store starting August 14. It can also be purchased through the offline store tomorrow onwards. On the purchase of the device, the HDFC card users can avail 7.5 percent cashback, Jio subscriber can get benefits up to Rs 10,000. The Paytm users can get Rs 2500 cashback on the purchase of Vivo S1.

Coming to the specifications of the Vivo S1 it features include a 6.38-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display that comes with a waterdrop design to house the selfie camera. The design of the smartphone has a 90 percent screen to body ratio and offers an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display of the screen comes with the in-display fingerprint sensor as well as face unlock as security features.

The Vivo S1 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 SoC. As said, the device is available in two storage options 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage. that the memory can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The handset runs on Android 9.0 based on Funtouch OS 9 that offers Jovi Smart Screen, Customisable Icons, Dark Mode, etc.

For imaging duties, the Vivo S1 comes with the triple rear camera set up that consists of 16MP (f/1.78), 8MP AI Super Wide Angle (f/2.2) secondary sensor along with 2MP Bokeh Camera (f/2.4). On the front 32MP Front Camera (f/2.0) has been included within a waterdrop design. The camera sensors of the device are supported by Artificial Intelligence. On the rear cams, it comes with features like HDR Mode, Live Photo, PDAF, AI Super Wide-Angle, Portrait Mode, AI Portrait Framing, AI Face Beauty, Time-Lapse, Slo-Mo and much more. On the front, it comes with enhanced beautification features like AI Face Beauty, AI Portrait Lighting, AR Stickers, etc.

To give it life, Vivo S1 houses a 4500 mAh battery that is supported by 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging. The Vivo smartphone measures 159.53 × 75.23 × 8.13mm and it weighs 179g. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB along with USB OTG support. The sensors on the mobile include Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity Sensor, E-compass, Gyroscope (Virtual).
