The Vivo T5x 5G is set to debut in India next month. The company today publicly disclosed the India launch date. The MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor will power the gadget, which will run OriginOS 6, an Android 16-based operating system. The Vivo T5x 5G stands out for its 7,200mAh battery, which is said to have the longest battery life in its category.
Vivo is extending its T-Series portfolio in India with the introduction of the Vivo T5x 5G. The gadget is slated to be released in the nation on March 17 at noon. In addition to the launch date, the company has confirmed Flipkart’s availability. Aside from the e-commerce platform, the handset will be available for purchase via Vivo India’s online store and authorised physical retail shops in India post-launch.
Ahead of the formal launch, the business has released the main specifications for the next phone. It will have a powerful 7200 mAh battery, enabling continuous use without regular recharging. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo CPU, it will provide quick and efficient performance suitable for a variety of tasks. Furthermore, the device is stated to have IP68 and IP69 classifications, indicating superior dust and water resistance and assuring durability in harsh settings. It is also said to operate on OriginOS 6, which comes pre-installed with Android 16.

The new smartphone will take the place of the Vivo T4X, which was introduced in India last year. The phone’s full-HD+ LCD screen is 6.72 inches and has a resolution of 1,080×2,408 pixels. The display supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and is TÜV Rheinland Eye Protection certified. Furthermore, the panel offers a maximum brightness of 1,050 nits.
The Vivo T4x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It also gets up to 8 GB of extended RAM. The software comes pre-installed with FuntouchOS 15, which is based on Android 15.

It has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Besides this, there is a dynamic light unit along with an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the display’s punch hole plays host to an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The camera also includes features like AI Erase, AI Photo Enhance, AI Document Mode and Night Mode. The phone can record 4K videos at 30 fps.
The phone is backed by a 6,500mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging support that can reach a 50% charge in 40 minutes.
