Vivo V40 series confirmed to launch in India on August 7

The upcoming series will include Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro.

The Vivo V40 series will arrive in India in August, with the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro making their debut. The vanilla V40 has already been released globally. The new Vivo V series phones will include advancements over the Vivo V30 family, such as a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera configuration, a 5,500mAh battery, and an IP68-rated design. Also, the device will be available in a variety of colours.

The Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro India launch dates have been officially confirmed. The devices will be released in the country on August 7, succeeding the Vivo V30 series, which debuted a few months earlier in March.

The V40 and V40 Lite have already been released worldwide by Vivo, and the Pro model will make its debut in India. The Vivo V40 series is being teased with a dedicated webpage on the Vivo India website. Customers who are interested in receiving updates can click the “Notify Me” option on the website.

The official teaser indicates that the Pro variant will be available in Lotus Purple, Titanium Grey, and Ganges Blue, while the V40 will only be available in Ganges Blue and Titanium Grey. It has been verified that their build is water and dust-resistant, with an IP68 rating. With a 5,500mAh battery, the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro are said to be the thinnest smartphones at 7.58mm in thickness.

According to the poster that Vivo published, they will include Zeiss-branded cameras. The Vivo V40 Pro will have three cameras on its back: a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor that supports optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel Sony IMX816 telephoto lens that can zoom up to two times, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. They’ll receive front cameras with 50 megapixels.

Additionally, it has been revealed that Flipkart will sell the Vivo V40 series. The online marketplace has a specific webpage for the latest smartphones. We may assume that the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro would launch for slightly over Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000, respectively, even though the pricing is still unknown.
