Today in India Vivo introduced its new mid-range offering- Vivo V50. The newly arrived phone is the slimmest phone to pack a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. The handset comes equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It features a 120Hz AMOLED display, dual rear cameras and AI features along with FuntouchOS 15. Here is everything about the new phone.

Vivo V50 pricing and availability

The price of Vivo V50 in India starts at Rs 34,999 for the base 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. There is another 8GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at Rs 36,999. Lastly, the price of the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage option is set at Rs 40,999. The phone is offered in three colour options: Rose Red, Starry Blue, and Titanium Grey.

The newly launched device will be available for purchase via Vivo India e-store, Flipkart and Amazon starting February 25. However, the pre-reservations are currently live.

The company will be providing 1-year of extended warranty along with 1-year screen damage protection at discounted pricing.

Vivo V50 Specifications and Features

Vivo V50 is highlighted with a 6.77-inch full-HD+ quad-curved AMOLED screen with 1,080 x 2,392 pixels of resolution. The display comes with a 41-degree curvature, 0.186 cm bezel size, and Diamond Shield Glass protection. The panel supports 4,500 nits of peak local brightness, up to 120Hz refresh, and 387ppi pixel density. Under the hood, there is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It has also got support for 12GB of virtual RAM expansion.

In terms of software, the handset is likely to come pre-installed with Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15. It also sports AI features like Circle to Search, Transcript Assist, Live Call Translation, Erase 2.0 and Light Portrait 2.0.

The Vivo phone packs a Zeiss-branded dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS as well as a 50-megapixel ultrawide angle lens with an f/2.0 aperture. The handset features a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone is backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. It also has IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. In terms of connectivity, there is dual 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, OTG and a USB 3.2 Type-C port for charging.
