Vivo is planning to launch a new V-series smartphone in the Indian market. The company has started to tease the Vivo V50e ahead of the upcoming launch. The firm has teased the key specifications of the next phone with a quad-curved OLED display, IP69 ratings and 50MP front and rear cameras. In addition to this, the company has also revealed the availability details of the upcoming phone.
Last year’s Vivo V40e will soon get its successor as the company has begun teasing the India launch of Vivo V50e. The phone is confirmed to be available on Amazon. The firm has also created a dedicated microsite on its official website in the country. The firm is yet to reveal the exact launch date, but it is expected to arrive in mid-April.
The Vivo V50e is set to be available in Sapphire Blue, a rich, iridescent shade reminiscent of blue mother-of-pearl and Pearl White colors, with the latter featuring a unique sand-like texture back panel. It will come with IP68 & IP69 ratings, offering protection against water, dust, and high-pressure sprays.
The smartphone will be a sleek and ultra-slim device, boasting an Ultra-Slim Quad Curved Display and, polished glass back. It’s dual-ring camera module with Aura Light. The Quad-Curved AMOLED display is said to come with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering stunning visuals, vibrant colors, and deep blacks, providing unmatched clarity and brilliance for content consumption indoors or outdoors.
The Vivo V50 features a camera island with an OIS-enabled Sony IMX882 main sensor, ultra-wide-angle lens, and Aura LED flash.
The Sony Multifocal Pro Portrait camera is designed for magical portraits with three focal lengths: 26mm (1x), 39mm (1.5x), and 52mm (2x). It features a 50MP Eye-AF Group Selfie Camera for clear, dynamic selfies, 4K video recording on both front and rear cameras, and India’s Exclusive Wedding Portrait Studio for memorable photos with a combination of wedding-style portrait and film camera modes.

The device features a 50MP front-facing selfie camera with eye autofocus, and both front and rear cameras are confirmed to support 4K video recording.
Besides this, the upcoming phone will also sport AI features like AI Image Expander, AI Note Assist, Circle-to-Search and AI Transcript Assist.
