Vivo V50e with Sony Multifocal Pro Portrait with 50MP Eye-AF Group Selfie Camera launched in India

The smartphone comes with a Wedding Portrait Studio feature.

Vivo V50e has officially debuted in India. The new Vivo phone comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. It features a 6.77-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED screen and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone has a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 50-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone boasts a 5,600mAh battery.

Vivo V50e Price in India, Sale Details

The price of the Vivo V50e in India begins at Rs 28,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option will be available at Rs 30,999. The handset will be available in two colour options: Pearl White and Sapphire Blue.

The pre-booking window for the phone is already open. The device is scheduled to go on sale starting April 17 via Amazon, Flipkart and the Vivo India e-store.

 Online offers include a 10% instant discount with HDFC Bank and SBI Card transactions, a 10% exchange bonus for old smartphone trades, no cost EMI options for up to 6 months, and a special bundled price of Rs 1,499 for Vivo V50e.

Vivo V50e Specifications

The Vivo V50e features a 6.77-inch full-HD+ quad-curved AMOLED screen with 1,080×2,392 pixels of resolution. The handset’s display has up to 300Hz touch sampling rate and supports up to 120Hz refresh rate. The screen comes with SGS low blue light certification, HDR10+ support 1,800nits of peak brightness and 2,160Hz PWM dimming rate. The panel comes with Diamond Shield Glass protection. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for further security.

The device is driven by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS2.2 onboard storage. The mobile phone runs on FuntouchOS 15 based Android 15 out of the box. The company will provide 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security fixes. It also features Smart tools like AI Image Expander, AI Transcript Assist, AI Note Assist, Circle to Search, Live Call Translation, AI SuperLink.

The Vivo V50e has a dual back camera unit that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main rear sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an f/1.79 aperture. The camera setup also includes an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle sensor with a 116-degree FoV and an f/2.2 aperture with an Aura light feature and India’s exclusive Wedding Portrait Studio feature. The device comes with a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Additionally, V50e offers 4K video support on both front and rear cameras.

In terms of connectivity, there is 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, OTG, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector. The Vivo V50e is powered by a 5,600mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. Additionally the handset includes an IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistant rating.
