Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro with Dimensity 9300 SoC and 8 LTPO AMOLED displays launched in India

Vivo has finally announced the launch of its flagship series Vivo X100 in India. It took almost two months for Vivo to bring this smartphone to India. Well whatever it is, this new year the much-awaited Vivo X100 Series has finally been launched. The line-up consists of two devices- Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro. The phones are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and shipped with OriginOS 4 based Android 14 out of the box. The handsets come with a triple rear camera powered by Zeiss Optics. Additionally, the device supports 120W fast charging.

Vivo X100 Series price and availability details

Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro are offered in three colour options Asteroid Black, Startrail Blue, and Sunset. The phones will go on sale from January 11 in the country via Flipkart and Vivo e-store in the country.

Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro launched globally

Vivo X100 Price in India is set at Rs 63,999 for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. There is another 16GB RAM with 512GB storage priced at Rs 69,999. On the other hand, the price of Vivo X100 Pro in India is set at Rs 89,999.

The company is offering a 24-month No-cost EMI | Zero Down Payment option. Consumers can also avail of up to 10% Instant cashback on ICICI Bank and SBI Card with an additional upgrade bonus of up to Rs 8,000 on offline purchases. There will be a flat 10% Instant Discount on Debit/Credit cards and EMI transactions through HDFC Bank and SBI Card with an additional upgrade bonus of up to Rs 8,000 if the purchase is made online.

Vivo X100 Pro is highlighted with a 6.78-inch AMOLED 8T LTPO curved display with 1,260 x 2,800 pixels of resolution. The display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits of peak brightness, and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. The device is shipped out of the box with OriginOS 4 with Android 14. Under its hood, there is MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC with Vivo V3 chip. The device comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

There is a triple rear camera setup on the phone with Zeiss optics. The system includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch type sensor with OIS (100x digital zoom), a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor and a 50-megapixel Zeiss APO super-telephoto lens with OIS (4.3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom). The smartphone features a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Vivo X100 Pro has a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

In terms of connectivity, there is: 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, NavIC, OTG, and a USB Type-C port

The sensors onboard include an in-display fingerprint sensor, IR sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, flicker sensor and multispectral sensor.

There are several similarities between the Vivo X100 and the Pro model. The display and processors are the same. The triple-camera setup on the phone includes a Sony IMX920 VCS bionic 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64-megapixel Zeiss super-telephoto lens (100x clear zoom).

Both X100 Pro and X100 come with a telephoto camera with a unique Telephoto Sunshot feature.

The phone has the same front-facing camera. The phone includes a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W rapid charging.
