Vivo X200 series India launch likely to happen soon, timeline revealed

The Vivo X200 series is scheduled to launch in India in November or the first week of December.

The Vivo X200 series has made its debut in China recently. While Vivo has not announced the launch date in India, a report suggests it will debut before the end of this year. The lineup consists of three models – Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. The phones run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and feature camera systems co-engineered by German optics brand Zeiss.

According to a report the Vivo X200 series is likely to be launched in India by the end of November or the first week of December, following its launch in China this week. While the announcement has yet to be made, Vivo is said to be teasing the phones and their arrival on its social media accounts in the coming weeks.

Vivo X200, X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini Specifications

The Vivo X200 and Pro models have 6.67-inch and 6.78-inch displays with 1.5K OLED, 120Hz refresh rate, and 4500 nits peak brightness. They feature MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, up to 16GB RAM, and 1TB internal storage. Operating on Origin OS 5, they have a 5,800mAh battery for the X200 and a 6,000mAh battery for the Pro, with 90W wired fast charging support.

The Vivo X200 features a Zeiss-powered 50MP 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto sensor. On the other hand, the Pro model comes with a 50MP LYT-818 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto sensor with a V3+ imaging chip. Both models have a 32MP selfie camera.

Both models have an IP68+IP69 water and dust resistance rating. Both phones also feature a 32MP selfie camera.

The Vivo X200 Pro Mini features a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It shares the chipset, OS, selfie camera, and IP rating with its older siblings. The rear camera features a 50MP Sony LYT818 primary camera, 50MP ultrawide sensor, and 50MP periscope sensor with 100x digital zoom. It has a 5,700mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
