Vivo X200T India launch date announced; key specs revealed

The X200T will be added to the X200 series, which already includes the Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro models. This lineup was first released in 2024.

The official date for the launch of the Vivo X200T in India has been announced. The camera system on the Vivo X200T is one of its most important features. It has 50-megapixel cameras with Zeiss optics, which are meant to improve the quality of photos. This system shows that Vivo is dedicated to high-end camera technology in its smartphones. This gadget will have the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset and run on OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16.

The Vivo X200T will come out in India on January 27 at 12 p.m. IST. The gadget has three 50-megapixel cameras on the back, co-engineered with Zeiss. This model is not just a re-skin; the camera module design is different from the X200 FE. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, which is less powerful than the Dimensity 9500 SoC used in the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro versions. The Vivo X200T runs on an important operating system. It will run on OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16. This software setup was originally seen with the Vivo X300 series in December 2025.

The company has announced that the new phone will be available for purchase through Flipkart, the Vivo India online store, and several offline stores. The gadget will probably come in Stellar Black and Seaside Lilac colours. The price in India is anticipated to be between Rs 50,000 and Rs 55,000.

Unconfirmed Specs

Rumours and leaks indicate that the X200T would include a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. This screen would be good for clear text and bright images. The MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip is likely to power it, making it a flagship device that can handle heavy multitasking, long-lasting performance, and gaming without getting a lot of app shutdown warnings.

The X200T will probably include a bold and symmetrical camera configuration with a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 32MP front camera. This setup shows that the camera is meant to be versatile, able to take everyday photos, trip photos, architectural photos, and portraits without losing detail.

It might have a 6200 mAh battery that charges at 90 W (and 40 W wirelessly) and an IP69 robust classification, which means it can handle dust and water.

According to reports, Android 16 will come with OriginOS 6 and a long-term update commitment. However, this should be taken as a very tentative claim until it is officially launched in the country.
