Vivo X300 and X300 Pro with Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera setup launched in India

The new smartphones are equipped with MediaTek processors.

The Vivo X300 Series has officially made its debut in the Indian market today. The lineup includes two models: a basic and a Pro version. The camera-centric phone features a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera setup highlighted with a 200-megapixel sensor. In addition to this, the phone supports a teleconverter kit. The X300 is driven by the highly advanced 3 nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 system-on-chip (SoC), which is supplemented with the Pro Imaging VS1 and V3+ imaging chips to increase its photography capabilities. The device has ample performance and storage options, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. It runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6, offering a user-friendly and feature-rich experience.

The Vivo X300 has a 6.31-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 1216×2640 resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz. It also supports HDR. It has an innovative in-display 3D ultrasonic single-point fingerprint sensor to improve user security and secure personal data. It is also built to survive harsh conditions, having IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water protection.

The base model comes with a powerful rear camera system designed in partnership with Zeiss. This system has a high-resolution 200-megapixel main sensor measuring 1/1.14 inches with optical image stabilisation (OIS) for improved image quality and stability. It also has a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 1/2.76-inch sensor, allowing for wider photographic views. The camera system is further boosted with a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, the Sony IMX885 LYT-602, which also supports optical image stabilisation and has 3x optical zoom capability.

The Vivo X300’s front camera has a 50-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. Notably, all of the cameras can record in 4K video resolution, delivering high-quality results for photography and filming.

It has a powerful 6,040mAh lithium-ion battery and supports both 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, enabling fast power refill. In terms of connectivity, the gadget has an astounding array of choices, including 5G and 4G capabilities, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6, GPS, NFC, OTG functionality, and a USB Type-C connector, making it adaptable to a variety of technological integrations.

The Vivo X300 is priced in India starting at Rs 75,999 for the entry-level option with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at Rs 81,999, while the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage option costs Rs 85,999. The smartphone is available in three colours: Elite Black, Mist Blue, and Summit Red.

The Vivo X300 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, which has 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6.

It has a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,260×2,800 pixels. The smartphone can refresh at up to 120 Hz and has a screen-to-body ratio of 94.85 per cent. Furthermore, the touch sampling rate may be up to 300 Hz, and the pixel density is 452 ppi. The screen supports HDR10+ content and has been verified by SGS for minimal blue light emissions and TUV Rheinland for flicker-free operation. The phone has an aluminium alloy main frame and a luxury design with glass on the front and glass fibre on the back.

It has a powerful triple back camera system designed to improve photography and video experiences. The main component is a high-resolution 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 sensor with a CIPA 5.5 stability grade, ensuring crisp and steady photos. Complementing this is a strong 200-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3.5x optical zoom and a CIPA 5.5 rating, allowing the user to shoot distant scenes in remarkable clarity. In addition, the camera system contains a wide-angle JN1 sensor with a 50-megapixel resolution, which allows for expansive composition in photographs.  The Vivo X300 Pro has a 50-megapixel front-facing camera, which makes it more appealing to those who value high-quality visual communication.

The Pro model comes with an impressive 6,510 mAh battery that enables fast charging, with 90 W wired charging and 40 W wireless charging options. This smartphone has a wide range of connectivity options, including 5G compatibility, Bluetooth 6, and global positioning systems like GPS, A-GPS, NFC, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC. It also has OTG capabilities, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C connector for diverse connectivity. The gadget also has a number of sensors that improve the user experience, including an e-compass, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, colour temperature sensor, fingerprint sensor, and proximity sensor.

The Vivo X300 Pro is offered at a price of Rs 109,999 for its only configuration, featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device is available in two colour variants: Dune Gold and Elite Black.
