Vivo X300 Series launching in India today: livestream, specs, pricing details

The lineup is confirmed to come in an India-exclusive red colour option.

The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is set to launch the Vivo X200 series successor today – the Vivo X300 Series. The new lineup is confirmed to include Vivo X300 and X300 Pro. The upcoming smartphones will run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box. It is said to be powered by Dimensity 9500 chipsets. Here is everything about it.

The Vivo X300 Series is set to debut in India today at 12pm IST. The flagship lineup will be unveiled in a special event, which will be streamed live on Vivo’s social media and official YouTube channel, as well as via an embedded video link provided below.

Confirmed Specifications

The official Vivo India website verifies the red colour option and focuses on the key features of the Vivo X300 and the more expensive Vivo X300 Pro models. The specifications detailed on the microsite appear to mirror those of the global variants of the Vivo X300 series, which were launched recently, indicating consistent feature offerings across markets.

The two models will have a 3 nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which will be backed by a Pro Imaging VS1 chip and a V3+ imaging chip to ensure robust imaging capabilities. It has also been announced that these devices would run OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16.

The base Vivo X300 is likely to arrive with a Zeiss-powered triple rear camera setup. This combination will include a 200-megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f/1.68 and optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with an aperture of f/2.57 and OIS, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with an aperture of f/2.0. In addition, the gadget will include a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with the Samsung JN1 sensor, which is ideal for selfies and video calls.

In India, the Vivo X300 Pro is expected to include an excellent optical system that includes a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera arrangement. The setup contains a main camera with a 50-megapixel resolution and an f/1.57 aperture, which uses a Sony LYT-828 sensor. This setup is accompanied by another 50-megapixel camera, the Samsung JN1, which is optimised for ultrawide pictures and has an f/2.0 aperture. The gadget also features an impressive 200-megapixel telephoto camera, the HPB APO, with an aperture of f/2.67. The smartphone has a 50-megapixel front camera, which also includes the Samsung JN1, and is housed in a hole-punch cutout to maximise screen real estate.

Price in India Expected

Reportedly, the Vivo X300 will cost around Rs 75,999 in India for the base model, which has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone is likely to be offered in two additional variants, with costs starting at Rs 81,999 for the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage option and Rs 85,999 for the 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. The Vivo X300 Pro is expected to be priced at Rs 109,999 for a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Vivo will also launch the Telephoto Extender Kit for the X300 series in India, possibly priced at Rs 20,999.
