The Vivo Y18 has debuted in the Indian market today, joining the current lineup of Y-series devices. The newly launched budget smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. It comes with the Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 operating system out of the box. The phone features an HD+ display and a 5000mAh battery, which supports 15W charging. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and includes an IP54 rating.

Vivo Y18 price in India, sale details

Vivo Y18 has launched in India in two different configurations. The 4GB RAM with 64GB storage option is priced at Rs 8,999, whereas the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999. The device comes in two colourways Gem Green and Space Black.

The handset can be purchased via Vivo eStore, Amazon and offline stores in the country.

The Vivo Y18 features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with 1612 x 720 pixels of resolution. The screen supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz and 840 nits of peak brightness. The panel comes with TUV Rheinland certification, 69 PPI pixel density, and an 83 percent NTSC gamut. The phone runs on FuntouchOS 14 with Android 14 out of the box. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with a Mali G52 GPU. The phone has up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, which can be expanded further with a microSD card, and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

For photos and videos, there is a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a VGA 0.8 MP sensor. Additionally, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

The 5,000mAh battery of the Vivo Y18 supports 15W rapid charging. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. In terms of connectivity, there is a dual SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging.
