Vivo Y19s 5G powered by a 6,000mAh battery launched in India

The new 5G phone comes with a 90Hz display.

Vivo has announced the Y19s 5G smartphone in India, which features an incredible 6,000mAh battery and supports 5G connectivity. The Y19s 5G features a teardrop-shaped display notch with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity chipset, which is created utilising a 6nm process, resulting in improved performance. In addition, the smartphone comes with dual back cameras and an LED flash for photography. The gadget runs FuntouchOS 15, which is based on the most recent Android 15 operating system.

Although the official pricing has not yet been disclosed by the company, the device will be available in two attractive colour options: Titanium Silver and Majestic Green, along with three different storage variants. The Vivo Y19s 5G smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage.

On Flipkart, the device has been listed at Rs 10,499, Rs 11,499 and Rs 12,999 respectively.

It has a 6.74-inch LCD with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels. The device has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a colour spectrum of 70% NTSC, with a pixel density of 260 pixels per inch (ppi). The screen can achieve a maximum brightness of 700 nits, improving visibility in a variety of lighting settings. It has an IP64 classification, which indicates its resistance to dust and splashes, making it a long-lasting alternative for daily use. The gadget runs Android 15 with FuntouchOS 15.

The budget-friendly Y19s 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor manufactured on a 6nm technology. This CPU has two performance cores and six efficiency cores, resulting in a max clock speed of 2.4GHz. The device can support up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal eMMC5.1 storage, which can be expanded by an impressive 2TB via MicroSD card.

The Vivo Y19s 5G features a dual rear camera configuration that includes a 13-megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 0.8-megapixel secondary camera with an aperture of f/3.0. The device’s front features a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2. The rear camera system is expanded with many shooting modes, including Night, Portrait, Live Photo, Slo-mo, and Time-lapse, allowing users to record a variety of photographs and videos efficiently.

The device has a large 6,000mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging, giving users more battery life for longer use. The Y19s’ onboard sensors include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security, as well as several other critical sensors: an accelerometer for motion detection, an ambient light sensor that adjusts display brightness based on external light conditions, a proximity sensor that detects nearby objects, and an e-compass for orientation. In terms of connectivity, the gadget includes sophisticated features, including dual-band Wi-Fi for faster internet access, Bluetooth 5.4 for more effective wireless communication, and a USB Type-C connector for adaptable data transfer.

It also has several satellite positioning systems, including as GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS, which allow for precise location tracking across different regions.
