Vivo is all set to launch a new smartphone in the market. The company today confirmed the India launch date for Vivo Y200e 5G. Not only did it announce the launch date, but the company also teased the colour options as well as the design of the upcoming phone. The specifications and price of the yet-to-be-announced Vivo Y series smartphone have not yet been formally disclosed but it was leaked recently.
Vivo has officially announced that its next smartphone Vivo Y200e 5G will arrive in India on February 22. The company has also listed the phone on its website which teases the design and colour options of the upcoming phone. The company has unveiled Blue and Orange colourways. The Blue variant has a plastic back with a textured finish. On the other hand, the Orange colour model has a vegan leather finish with intersecting lines.
The Vivo Y200e 5G design language is very similar to its sibling Vivo Y200 5G featuring a rectangle camera module consisting of three camera sensors alongside a tiny LED flashlight.
The forthcoming phone’s design, colour options and pricing have also been hinted at previously. According to earlier leaks, the Vivo Y200e 5G will cost less than Rs 20,000 in India. It is purported to be available in Saffron Delight and Diamond Black colours.

Rumours suggest that the upcoming phone will have a 6.67-inch full-HD+ Samsung AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. The Vivo Y200e could run either Android 13 or 14.
It is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC with 128GB of storage and options for 6GB or 8GB of RAM that can be increased to 16GB using the extended RAM option. The device is rumoured to have two rear cameras: a 2-megapixel secondary sensor and a 50-megapixel primary camera. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera is likely to feature selfies and video calling. The handset is claimed to boast a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

Furthermore, the phone is expected to come with dual stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
