The Chinese smartphone company Vivo has silently launched another Y-Series smartphone in India. Vivo Y56 5G has been found listed on the company’s official website in the country. According to a retailer, the device is currently available for purchase via an offline store. The phone features a 50MP dual rear camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery. In addition to this, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.

According to a major retailer, Mahesh Telecom, the Vivo Y56 5G is currently sellable through offline retailers in the nation. The information was shared by the Mumbai-based retailer on Twitter. The cost of the single 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant of the Vivo Y56 5G, according to the store, is Rs 19,999. Additionally, the new Y-series smartphone and its specifications have been made available on Vivo’s official India website. It is available in the colours Orange Shimmer and Black Engine. To the best of our knowledge, the company’s website does not yet list the handset’s price.

As per the listing, the 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD screen of the Vivo Y56 5G has a resolution of 1,080×2,408. Funtouch OS 13 powered by Android 13 handles the smartphone. It is driven by an 8GB RAM/MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC combination. With the help of unused onboard storage, the built-in RAM can be increased up to 16GB. Additionally, it provides 128GB of inbuilt storage.

The battery in the Vivo Y56 5G is 5,000mAh and supports 18W fast charging. The Vivo smartphone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, Glonass, OTG, FM radio, and a USB Type-C connector as connectivity choices. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. For login, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The listing features a rectangular rear camera module and a display with a waterdrop notch. Vivo Y56 5G has a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. A 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture is located at the front of the device for selfies and video calls.
