Vivobook S 15, Asus’s first Copilot+ PC with Snapdragon X Elite announced

Snapdragon X Elite is the world’s fastest laptop NPU with 45 Neural TOPS, for the latest Windows AI tools and exclusive ASUS AI apps.

Asus has officially unveiled its new generation of AI laptops- Vivobook S 15 (S5507). The latest laptop, which is the first Copilot+ PC from the firm, is powered by the Snapdragon X Elite and comes with a number of special ASUS AI apps to enhance both work and play for users. It also has Windows AI features.

Asus Vivobook S 15 (S5507) price will begin at USD 1299 for the 16GB+1TB varaint whereas the 32GB+1TB model will cost USD 139. It is scheduled to go on sale from June 18 however it is currently available for preorders via the company’s website and select retailers.

Asus Vivobook S 15 (S5507) comes equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon X Elite is the world’s fastest laptop NPU with 45 Neural TOPS, for the latest Windows AI tools and with exclusive ASUS AI apps. The laptop comes with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

The ASUS Copilot+ PC has a 15.6-inch 3K 120 Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display with 2880 x 1620 pixels of resolution. It has a 3-sided NanoEdge 89% screen-to-body ratio, 0.2 ms response time, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified, and average Delta-E < 1, 600 nits peak brightness. It also offers TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue-light levels for enhanced eye care, and the display itself is protected by our exclusive ASUS OLED Care system to significantly reduce the risk of burn-in.

The laptop has a Harman Kardon-certified audio system with immersive, multi-dimensional Dolby Atmos sound support. Additionally, there is a customisable single-zone RGB backlight (deleted Windows dynamic lighting wording)ASUS ErgoSense keyboard with Copilot key and emoji hotkey. The device has a dedicated Copilot key that enables Windows AI-powered tools. Furthermore, there is a large smart touchpad with gesture controls to operate various tasks, from adjusting audio to optimising screen brightness or managing video playback.

ASUS AiSense IR camera and Windows Studio Effects are two examples of next-generation AI-powered improvements. Adaptive Dimming, which lowers the screen when the user looks away, and Adaptive Lock, which locks the laptop when the user walks away and unlocks it when they return, are made possible by the camera’s presence-detection capabilities to handle all digital assets, using AI assistance to sort, edit, manage, and export captured raw files.

Furthermore, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 is the first gadget to use StoryCube, a proprietary AI app from the business. Moreover, Cocreator enables users to turn sketches into completed artwork, while Live Captions provides precise real-time captions. The ASUS Vivobook S 15 incorporates cutting-edge features like Windows Studio Effects, which improves lighting and noise reduction during portrait video calls

The Asus Vivobook S 15 has all the necessary ports including Wi-Fi 7, USB4 ports, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, microSD card reader and an audio combo jack.
