WhatsApp has introduced new features to improve group chat experiences, such as event reminders that let group invitees receive personalised notifications, member tags that offer detailed information about members, and the option to create text stickers by putting words in the Sticker Search box. The purpose of these improvements is to enhance platform user self-expression and connectedness.
With the addition of new group chat tools, WhatsApp has improved user connection and self-expression. With the help of this update, it will be simpler to remain connected on any device and share resolutions, plan events, and participate in activities. A total of three features have been introduced:
Users may assign customised identifiers that represent their roles in multiple group chats by using member tags. People may use this feature to explain how they got involved in each group, for example, by identifying themselves as “Anna’s Dad” in one discussion and “Goalkeeper” in another. By making members’ duties clear and interactions more realistic, these tags improve communication.

With the use of the Sticker Search function, users may turn any word into a text sticker, which was added to improve message visibility. Furthermore, users no longer need to send these newly created stickers in a chat window before adding them; instead, they may now add them straight to their sticker packs.

With the introduction of event reminders for group chats, users can now create and send events with personal reminders for invitees. Depending on the type of event, this function is intended to help people remember their responsibilities, such as making it to a party or attending a call at the appointed time.
