Xiaomi Mix Flip with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC launched in China

The handset has a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor.

Xiaomi has officially introduced the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Flip in China. Just like the foldable phone, Xiaomi’s flip phone is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The device has 120Hz displays and Leica-branded cameras. In addition to this, the 4,780mAh battery has 67W fast charging.

In China, the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version of the Xiaomi Mix Flip costs CNY 5,999, or approximately Rs 69,000. The 12GB RAM with 512GB storage and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage choices cost CNY 6,499, or approximately Rs 74,800, and CNY 7,299, or approximately Rs 84,000, respectively. The phone is available in three colour options: white, purple, and black. The Xiaomi China website is presently accepting presale reservations for the flip phone. The flip phone will go on sale in China on July 23.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip highlights a 6.86-inch 1.5K flexible AMOLED main display with 2,912 x 1,224 pixels of resolution. The inner display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel also includes a 3,000-nits peak brightness level. There is a 4.01-inch 1.5K flexible AMOLED outer or cover display. Both the outer and the inner screens include HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. It features a fingerprint sensor installed on the side for security. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with Adreno 750 GPU and up to 16GB of LPPDDR5X RAM as well as up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The clamshell phone runs on HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box.

The phone features a Leica branded dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor and a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV60A40 lens with a telephoto lens with up to 2x optical zoom. It also comes with a 32-megapixel OV32B selfie camera.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip houses a 4,780mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Connectivity options include USB Type-C 2 Gen 1, NFC, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS, NavIC, Wi-Fi 6E, dual 4G VoLTE, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.4.
