Meta now owns AI Pendant’s manufacturer, Limitless

Meta has bought Limitless, a company that makes AI wearables. This fits with its goal of making personal superintelligence better. Limitless is best known for its AI-powered Pendant, which records audio all the time so that users can find information. The company will not make any new Pendants, but it will offer free help to current customers for a year. The financial terms of the acquisition are unknown, and Limitless is likely to retain some of its autonomy following the deal’s completion.

Meta has acquired Limitless, as revealed on their homepage with a message from co-founder and CEO Dan Siroker. His blog post states, “I’m excited to share that Limitless has been acquired by Meta. I’m going to share why we joined forces, what this means for customers, and what comes next.”

He also said that the purchase was made because they needed to improve technology and speed up product development towards personal superintelligence. Siroker talked about a bright future, but he didn’t talk about how competition was growing or how there hadn’t been any new ideas since the Pendant.

The deal’s financial details and changes to the structure were not made public, but it seems that the Limitless brand and Siroker’s role will stay the same. Also, we don’t know who is in charge of Meta’s Superintelligence Labs or Reality Labs.

According to the company, existing AI Pendant users may expect continued support for at least another year, but the Pendant will no longer be available for purchase for new customers. Current customers will benefit from the Unlimited Plan at no additional cost and will not be charged a monthly fee. However, certain capabilities, such as Rewind, may be phased out, and regional availability may vary. Continuing customers must consent to the revised Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, but their data will be protected regardless of whether they keep or quit usage of the Pendant. A new function has been added to enable data exports, and users may now simply delete their data within the app.

Deepinder Goyal, CEO of Zomato, has teased a new gadget called Temple, which he defines as an “experimental device to calculate brain flow accurately, in real time, and continuously.” The invention is the outcome of deep-tech research. Goyal posted a preview on Instagram of Temple, a gadget used to measure blood flow in the brain. Temple is Goyal’s next venture under Eternal, Zomato’s parent company.

Deepinder Goyal, Zomato’s founder and CEO, has sparked huge online interest by previewing his future venture, Temple, which focuses on brain wellness. Goyal also shared an exclusive glimpse of Temple on Instagram with the comment “Getting there.” Some observers have spotted the presence of a little golden gadget worn on his right temple, which has piqued interest in the product.

Infinity Stones, anti-gravity brain sensors, and hidden health monitoring chips were used as examples of crazy conceptions, reflecting the widespread imagination.

He shared a teaser on X, inviting fans to keep updated and redirecting to a bare black homepage titled “TEMPLE”. The future of health starts where no one’s looking.  Inside your brain. “Coming soon.”

His research initiative, Continue Research, has spent the past two years studying biology in search of solutions to stop human ageing.

Goyal defined the Temple tool as an “experimental” instrument for accurately measuring brain flow in real time, which he built while researching the gravity ageing hypothesis. He emphasised that the Gravity Ageing Hypothesis was not created for marketing purposes, asserting the importance of maintaining trust with customers.

He claimed that gravity may impact human ageing, claiming that reduced brain blood flow from upright positions affects the hypothalamus and brainstem, both of which govern ageing. Goyal, who has been using the gadget for a year, feels it has the potential to become a critical worldwide health tool.

Goyal is confident in Brain Flow’s potential as an important wearable for measuring biomarkers related to ageing and cognition, emphasising its significance regardless of whether the Gravity Ageing Hypothesis is accurate.

Realme has revealed plans for launching the Narzo 90 Series 5G in India soon. Teasers indicate that the next series will include better battery capabilities and fast charging support, as well as possibly distinct camera configurations. Two variants, the Realme Narzo 90 Pro 5G and Realme Narzo 90x 5G, are planned to be released which have different designs.

Realme has announced the upcoming introduction of the Narzo 90 Series 5G in India, with more specific information to be revealed on December 9. This series is expected to have two versions, probably the Realme Narzo 90 Pro 5G and the Realme Narzo 90x 5G, featuring different camera layouts and styles, as suggested by teaser photos from an e-commerce portal. The Narzo 90 Series succeeds the Realme Narzo 80 Series 5G, which debuted in April of this year.

Amazon has created a webpage dedicated to the Realme Narzo 90 Series 5G, which will soon be available in India. A promotional comic-style teaser showcased two separate models from the series, each with distinctive camera settings, highlighting their uniqueness. One of these devices has a camera configuration akin to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Therefore, this device is anticipated to be branded as the Realme Narzo 90 Pro 5G.

The Realme Narzo 90x 5G is expected to feature a rectangular camera design with vertically aligned lenses, similar to its predecessor. Both models feature Realme’s latest design, with flat frames and rounded edges. While full specs have not yet been revealed, teasers hint that the upcoming 90 Series 5G would include huge batteries, fast charging, impressive camera capabilities, and high peak brightness. The company has also stated that it will unveil additional information about its forthcoming series on December 9.

Realme Narzo 80 Pro 5G Specifications

A 6.77-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED screen with 1,080×2,392 pixels of resolution is the feature of the Realme Narzo 80 Pro 5G. The panel comes with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 180 Hz, a maximum brightness level of 800 nits, a PWM dimming rate of 3,840 Hz, and an Eye Protection mode is also included.

The phone boasts a MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification and is said to fulfil IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance certifications.

A MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage power the phone. It uses Realme UI 6, which is based on Android 15.

The Realme Narzo 80 Pro 5G will include two cameras on the back: a 50-megapixel primary sensor that supports optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The 16-megapixel sensor in the front camera will offer electronic image stabilisation (EIS) for video calls and selfies.

The Realme Narzo 80 Pro 5G has a 6,000mAh battery that supports 65W reverse charging and 80W wired SuperVOOC.

The Realme Narzo 80x 5G comes with a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD screen with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels of resolution. The display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, an aspect ratio of 20:09, and a high brightness level of up to 690 nits. It offers a touch sampling rate of up to 180 Hz. handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC with up to 256GB of built-in storage and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The phone comes pre-installed with Realme UI 6 based on Android 15.

In the third quarter of 2025, India’s tablet market shipped 1.33 million devices, a 19.7% decrease from the previous year. The decline was mostly attributable to a 53.5% drop in commercial shipments, despite the consumer market growing 13.5%, its best performance in almost a decade. According to an IDC report, India’s tablet market shifted significantly in Q3 2025. Consumer category growth was 13.5% year on year, driven mostly by increased demand over the festive season and strategic moves by vendors.  To boost sales, these firms used targeted sell-in strategies that included considerable discounts, bank promotions, exchange offers, and revised product ranges. In striking contrast, the commercial category saw a significant slump as it dealt with less institutional spending, resulting in ongoing poor performance.

Commercial shipments fell 53.5% year on year, owing mostly to a 61.9% drop in education deployments and a 47.9% decline in small office purchases. This reduction was ascribed to postponed education programs, cost-cutting by SMBs, and longer refresh cycles. In contrast, the e-tail channel prospered, with a 53.9% year-over-year increase in Q3 2025, illustrating the growing importance of online platforms in tablet adoption in India.

Samsung topped the market in Q3 2025 with a 37.5% share, with 49.7% in commercial and 32.6% in consumer categories, aided by public-sector education deployments and an online inventory push. Lenovo came in second with 16.8% market share, gaining headway in the consumer category (19.3%) with Motorola-branded tablets geared at younger customers, as well as expanding its enterprise deployment footprint.

Xiaomi acquired a 15.5% market share in Q3 2025, placing third, with a consumer segment share of 21.8%, thanks to competitive pricing and value-based sales bundles. Apple ranked fourth at 9.2%, with a 10.6% share in the consumer market and 5.8% in the commercial segment, owing to consistent commercial and education demand. As advanced AI capabilities become more integrated, tablets are evolving into handy productivity devices, offering personalised experiences and more efficient workflows. At the same time, rising PC prices are expected to increase further in the coming quarters. In this environment, tablets are becoming a compelling choice for first-time buyers and a cost-effective option for government-funded initiatives, effectively filling the gap left by traditional PCs.”

Every year, Vivo sets the benchmark for camera and photography performance in smartphones. In 2024, the X200 Pro (our review here) set the tone for the camera-centric phones released in the following year. As we head towards the end of 2025, Vivo has launched the next instalment in its flagship series. The X300 Pro is not an iterative upgrade, although Vivo could’ve easily gotten away with it, had they chosen to venture in that direction. The new model features upgraded sensors across its camera system. The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor brings raw power, while Vivo’s in-house VS1 and VS3 chips take care of the photoprocessing tasks. On paper, this smartphone has all the makings of an elite flagship. But do the specs translate flawlessly into everyday use? Find out in our Vivo X300 Pro review.

Vivo X300 Pro Review: Design and Display

Before we dive into the review, let’s take a look at what you get inside the X300 Pro’s retail box:

The X300 Pro has a flatter form factor than its predecessor. The glass back panel no longer curves into the frame. The display is completely flat, too. The design language of the device remains consistent – the iconic round camera island still draws attention from every angle. Vivo has ditched the outer ring for a quieter ridge texture at the bottom of the island. The sheer size of this round cutout causes the phone to wobble when it is placed on a flat surface. The glass back panel has a smooth matte texture that keeps fingerprints and smudges at bay. The ‘VIVO’ lettering is etched at the bottom of the panel and has a contrasting glossy finish.

The aluminium frame houses the volume rocker and the side button on its right edge. The customisable shortcut button is placed on the left edge. The primary speaker grille, SIM tray, USB-C port, and microphones find their way to the bottom. Up top lies the solitary secondary speaker. The IR blaster is placed on the rear camera panel. The X200 Pro is rated IP68/IP69 for protection against dust and water. It can take a dip in water as deep as 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes and survive high-pressure water jets.

The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display on this phone is a sight to behold. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. In outdoor conditions, it gets bright enough to maintain legibility. Its touch response is as smooth as butter. The slim bezels surrounding the display are even on all sides. The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is rapid, accurate, and leagues ahead of its optical counterparts.

The viewing experience on this smartphone is an absolute treat. The 2,800 x 1,260p display relays vibrant colours and sharp details. The screen temperature and colour profile can be customised from the settings. During the review period, we used the Vivo X300 Pro as our primary media streaming device. It offered a good range of viewing angles for group watching sessions and produced a loud and well-rounded audio output.

The X300 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s newest flagship processor – Dimensity 9500. Working alongside this processor are Vivo’s in-house VS1 and V3+ imaging chips. The smartphone comes in a single 16GB RAM (LPDDR5X Ultra) + 512GB (UFS 4.1) storage configuration, priced at Rs 1,09,999.

Here’s how this device performed in AnTuTu 3D and Geekbench 6 benchmark tests:

The Dimensity 9500 chipset churns out raw power whenever needed, handling routine tasks like calling, texting, web browsing, media streaming, and navigation with the utmost ease. Having UFS 4.1 storage on board means that apps do not take any time to load. The LPDDR5X Ultra RAM ensures that the device does not break a sweat with multiple apps running in the background. We launched a dozen apps at once and did not come across any lag. The smartphone even made light work of power-intensive tasks like photo and video editing.

Vivo’s flagships don’t carry the ‘gaming phone’ reputation, but silently deliver a rock-solid performance in this aspect regardless. We played titles like Call of Duty Mobile, Dead Trigger 2, and Asphalt Legends on the Vivo X300 Pro during the review period. The smartphone delivered exemplary gameplay with no lag or frame drops at 120fps. Pushing the graphics to their maximum settings meant having to contend with a 60fps frame rate.

The touch response offered by the display was very fluid. We felt on top of the action at all times. The Liquid Cooling Vapour Chamber on this device isn’t as large as the ones on dedicated gaming devices, but it does a good job of managing the internal temperature. The first signs of warmth along the back panel became noticeable after we had passed 40 minutes of gameplay.

The X300 Pro is one of the first devices in India to come with Vivo’s OriginOS 6 (based on Android 16) out of the box. Vivo’s new custom skin retains the good parts of its predecessor, Funtouch OS, while making improvements in important areas.

The diverse range of customisation options, which Funtouch OS was known for, has been preserved on OriginOS 6. The ‘Dynamic Effects’ section in device settings lets you customise elements like screen transitions, fingerprint icon, ambient lights, charging animation, and more. The motion smoothness on this OS is very satisfying, even at a 60Hz refresh rate. The entry and exit animations for apps are very well optimised too. The ‘Flip Card’ effect simulation for the lock screen is a visual treat.

The new ‘Origin Island’ works similarly to the Dynamic Island on iPhone. It supports cards for personal hotspot, timer, charging, audio recording, and other native functions. It is also compatible with Google Maps, allowing you to follow turn-by-turn navigation without loading the app in full screen. The Origin Player is the central media control on this device. It pops up on the lock screen and Origin Island whenever you play a song. The controls are simple, accessible, and well-designed.

Vivo has promised 5 major OS upgrades and 7 years of security patches for the X300 Pro. This isn’t the worst software support we’ve seen for a flagship, but Vivo needs to catch up with brands like Samsung, Google, and Apple, which promise at least 7 OS upgrades for their premium devices.

The X300 Pro packs a massive 6,510mAh battery pack. We were able to get 2 days of battery life on this device with 3 hours of daily screen time. On days with heavy use, we were left with ~30% charge in the tank. Safe to say, this phone completely eliminates any battery anxiety. The 90W power adapter provided in the box takes up to 50 minutes to an hour to fully charge the device.

Now, let’s dive into the biggest highlight of the X300 Pro – its exquisite camera system. Compared to the X200 Pro, there are some decent upgrades on this phone’s rear camera panel. The 200MP HPB telephoto sensor from Samsung replaces the HP9 unit. The 50MP Sony LYT-818 primary shooter has been upgraded to the LYT-828 sensor on the new model. Both of these sensors have a CIPA stabilisation rating of 5.5, which is a slight upgrade over their CIPA 4.5-rated predecessors. The ultrawide and front-facing cameras use 50MP Samsung JN1 sensors with autofocus. All four cameras on this phone are tuned by Zeiss.

The 50MP primary shooter captures amazing pictures in outdoor daylight conditions. The images showcase balanced and natural-looking colours that do justice to the scene. Vivo’s VS1 and V3+ chips play a big role in pre- and post-processing stages. The details on the images are sharp and spectacular. The contrast and dynamic range levels are quite tasteful. In limited lighting conditions, the primary shooter retains the balance of colours. The Night Mode gets rid of the noise and makes the images ‘pop’.

One of the best things about having the X300 Pro in your pocket is that you can summon its powerful 200MP telephoto zoom lens if you’re at a considerable distance from the subject. This lens is highly reliable and can be used interchangeably with the primary shooter. It can optically zoom up to 3.5x, maintaining the details and the colour profile of the main camera. If you don’t want to stop there, you can zoom up to 10x without noticing any significant drop in quality. After that point, the smartphone relies on its clever processing skills to resolve the images. We were impressed with the stability offered at 100x zoom. It allowed us to take pictures of distant signs and billboards. The smartphone cleverly processed the text without making any big errors.

There are 5 focal length options for portrait shots – 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm,  and 135mm. The telephoto lens takes over at 85mm. The portraits taken at every focal length/zoom level are tasteful and well-focused. The smartphone does a great job of recognising the boundaries of the subject and applying a nice background blur.

The 50MP ultrawide lens retains the colour profile of the main camera. The images pack all the essential details and showcase natural colours. In limited lighting conditions, this lens relies upon the Night Mode in the camera app to eliminate the grain and illuminate the shot. The 50MP front-facing camera takes clear selfies without applying any over-the-top texture and tone correction effects.

The primary shooter can record 8K videos at 30fps and 4K videos at 30, 60, and 120fps. The telephoto lens can also record 4K videos at 30, 60, and 120fps. Meanwhile, recording chops of the ultrawide and front-facing cameras are limited to 4K resolution and 30/60fps.

Verdict

After the dominating camera performance of the X200 Pro, it was hard to imagine how Vivo could outperform itself. However, with minor but crucial upgrades to the camera system, the new X300 Pro is set to retain its spot in the upper echelon of camera phones. The photoprocessing engine in this device distinguishes it from its peers. You can juggle among the three rear lenses without worrying about a drop in quality. The top-notch performance is a constant, regardless of the lighting conditions.

The Dimensity 9500 chipset on this phone handles routine, everyday tasks with ease. Its versatility is showcased by how well it runs power-intensive games. It goes without saying that this phone will never leave you hanging, no matter the task at hand. The bright AMOLED display remains unfazed under direct sunlight, maintaining legibility no matter the time of day. The elite viewing experience is made better by an amazing dual speaker setup. Nothing Phone 3a Lite has been released in India and is currently available for purchase at Flipkart, Vijay Sales, Croma, and other stores. The gadget has a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor and a 5,000mAh battery that enables wireless fast charging. It is available in three colour options. To boost sales, the firm is offering special launch discounts on purchases made using credit and debit cards from select banks. 

The Nothing Phone 3a Lite has been launched in India, starting at Rs 20,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the 256GB version is priced at Rs 22,999. The phone is available in three colours: black, blue, and white, and is now available for purchase via Flipkart, Vijay Sales, Croma, and several top retail outlets throughout India.

Customers may take advantage of launch discounts that allow them to purchase the 128GB and 256GB variants at reduced costs of Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999, respectively, when using ICICI and OneCard banks.

The Nothing Phone sports a full-HD+ flexible AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,392 pixels. In terms of performance, the screen provides a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, resulting in fluid graphics. Furthermore, the display has 2,160 Hz pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming, which improves visibility and comfort during use. It reaches high brightness levels, with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, which is particularly useful for HDR content, while maintaining a pixel density of 387 pixels per inch (PPI).

The Nothing Phone 3a Lite runs Nothing OS 3.5, which is based on Android 15. The Nothing Phone 3a Lite is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor with 8GB of RAM. The device has versatile storage options, with up to 256GB of internal storage and a virtual RAM extension of up to 8GB. Users may also extend their storage space by adding a microSD card, which can hold up to 2TB.

The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 119.5-degree field-of-view (FoV), and an unspecified third sensor. It also boasts a 16-megapixel front-facing camera that is optimised for selfies and video calls. The camera system’s main features are Ultra XDR pictures, Portrait Mode, Auto Tone, Night Mode, Macro Mode, and Motion Capture.

The back camera supports 4K video recording at 30 fps and slow-motion shooting at 1080p 120 fps. Furthermore, it has an IP54 rating, which provides resistance to dust and splashes, increasing its endurance. Panda Glass protects the front and rear panels, adding to the device’s durability.

The phone has a powerful 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W wired fast charging as well as 5W wired reverse charging. The Nothing Phone 3a Lite has multiple connectivity options, including the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard and Bluetooth 5.3 technology, which ensures high-speed internet and smooth device connection. The phone has a powerful GPS that uses many satellite systems, including GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and QZSS, to provide precise position tracking.
