The YouTube outage got worse late on Tuesday, February 17, and continued into Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Many users have reported seeing the error message “Something went wrong” at this time, which has been frustrating. Some users have also experienced unexpected account logouts. The Gadget Bridge Team also confirmed that they encountered the same problem while using the app and were being signed out of their accounts without warning. The problem seems to be broad, affecting users in different areas and highlighting that the platform’s service is crashing.
Reports in India peaked between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM IST, which was the same time as a global surge of over 240,000 reports.
