Airtel adds more than 4,300 new 5G stations in UP East
Bharti Airtel has significantly improved its telecommunications infrastructure over the last year, installing over 4,300 new 5G stations throughout Uttar Pradesh East. This enormous growth not only increases Airtel’s network reach but also strengthens its position as one of India’s leading telecoms service providers. The installation of these 5G sites is projected to dramatically improve service quality and coverage, meeting the rising demand for high-speed connections in the region.
The business said that a major network expansion has begun in 48 districts in the UP East circle. This will greatly improve coverage for around 34 million people in cities, growing towns, and distant rural villages. Airtel is actively increasing its infrastructure by installing an average of 12 new sites every day. This is to make sure that people can connect immediately. This planned extension is meant to make sure that different activities, such as work, school, entertainment, and digital payments, can all be done reliably. This will make the digital ecosystem in the area stronger overall.
Airtel has also launched a fully unlimited data package for Rs 399 that lasts for 28 days. With this package, you may use both 4G and 5G data without limits, and you can also make unlimited voice calls. It is made just for smartphone users, so they can do things like stream, study, work, and stay connected without having to worry about data constraints.
The implementation of this strategy is supported by significant expenditures targeted at increasing network density, notably in rural and semi-urban regions, as well as crucial infrastructure like roads and border areas. This initiative aims to provide a strong and future-ready connectivity system that performs effectively in contexts with high mobility and data use.

Customers in Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Jhansi and several other districts will directly benefit from this enhanced network footprint. The expanded coverage will enable seamless access to high-speed 5G services, supporting the everyday digital needs of citizens, students, micro-entrepreneurs, enterprises and government institutions across urban and rural markets.
