Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+ launched: Details

The tabs are said to be 4% lighter than their predecessor.

Samsung today announced the debut of its much-anticipated Galaxy Tab S10 FE series. The newly launched tablet series includes two devices Galaxy Tab S10 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+, both of which offer cutting-edge AI capabilities right out of the box. In addition to this, the FE Series will also include the same IP68 rating as the newest Galaxy Tab S10 series. The tabs are said to be 4% lighter than their predecessor.

Samsung claims that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE is 4% lighter than the Galaxy Tab S10+, weighing 497g, contrary to 523g, while the FE+ adds weight because of its larger display. Both tablets are slimmer, measuring 6.0mm, but battery capacity is unaffected. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ boasts a larger 13.1-inch screen that is 12% larger than the previous FE+, making it larger than the 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S10+.

With a refresh rate of 90 Hz and an HBM visibility of up to 800 nits, the display is said to provide smooth visuals. By automatically adjusting brightness and visibility, Vision Booster minimises blue-light emissions and ensures the best viewing conditions outdoors. The most recent Galaxy Tab S10 series and the FE series both have the same IP68 rating.

The Exynos 1580 with 12 GB + 256 GB and 8 GB + 128 GB of RAM and storage options is a feature of this year’s FE tablets. Up to 2TB of storage expansion via a microSD card is supported. Android 15 powers both of the tablets. Although a S Pen is included in the retail package, it is not Bluetooth-enabled. The Power Key has an integrated fingerprint sensor that supports both a physical SIM card and an eSIM card.

They come with the Galaxy AI suite, which includes Samsung Notes, Circle to Search with Google, AI assistants, Auto Trim, Best Face, and Object Eraser.

LumaFusion, Goodnotes, Clip Studio Paint, Noteshelf 3, Sketchbook, and Picsart are among the pre-installed creative apps available on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series. For a user-friendly AI experience, it also connects with other Samsung Galaxy devices. With the help of the Home Insight widget dashboard and 3D Map obtain functionality, users can obtain a thorough overview of their home’s status and get a summary of the status updates for SmartThings-enabled devices.

With end-to-end hardware, real-time threat detection, and collaborative protection, Samsung Knox, a defense-grade, multi-layer security platform, is installed on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+ Availability

According to the company, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+ will be available in select markets starting April 3. They will come in three colour options: Gray, Silver and Blue.
