On 24 April, Apple will be celebrating ‘Global Close Your Rings Day’ in honour of the Apple Watch’s tenth anniversary. The business will give customers who finish their activity rings on the day physical pins and limited edition badges at Apple Stores worldwide. Users most frequently utilise the Activity Rings feature, which pushes users to move, stand, and exercise for at least one minute per day. Users with watchOS 5.0 and later OS versions can take advantage of the deal.
Users who finish their activity rings on April 24 will get exclusive advantages and limited edition awards as part of Apple’s tenth anniversary celebration. ‘Global Close Your Rings Day’ is an occasion that Apple is holding to celebrate the introduction of its first Apple Watch.
Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer, said, “Apple Watch has changed the way people think about, monitor, and engage with their fitness and health. A decade ago, we introduced Activity rings — and since then, Apple Watch has grown to offer an extensive set of features designed to empower every user. People write to us almost every day sharing how the Apple Watch has made a difference in their life, from motivating them to move more throughout the day, to changing the trajectory of their health.”

For the past ten years, Apple Watch activity rings have been an accepted way for people to keep active. Users are urged to close their rings on April 24 in order to receive animated stickers for Messages and a unique Global Close Your Rings Day limited-edition reward.
A limited-edition award, ten animated stickers, and an animated badge for Messages can all be obtained by closing all three Activity rings. At Apple Store locations, customers may also get a pin that was inspired by the award.
Even if their device is ten years old, Apple Watch owners who are using watchOS 5.0 or later operating systems—including the original Apple Watch—will be eligible to receive limited-edition awards.
By meeting daily targets for active calories burnt, minutes of brisk activity completed, and standing up for at least a minute, users of the Apple Watch’s Activity app are encouraged to close their three Activity rings: Move, Exercise, and Stand. Activity rings can be paused for rest days, and users can personalise their goals. Validated heart rate and calorie algorithms are used by the Workout app to track workouts, and activity challenges and sharing help users stay motivated. Additionally, the app offers data on environmental noise levels, medication management, menstrual cycles, and heart health.
