Samsung Electronics has partnered with Google to provide direct access to Google’s AI-powered assistant, Gemini, on select Galaxy A series handsets, in an effort to democratise AI experiences and improve user experience.
Samsung has announced that some Galaxy A series handsets will soon offer AI assistant activation via the side button, which is popular in the Galaxy S series. The partnership between Samsung and Google seeks to democratise the newest AI experiences and make it easier for consumers to utilise Gemini more effectively.
Samsung has added Awesome Intelligence to its Galaxy A series, allowing users to launch Google’s AI-powered assistant, Gemini, by holding down the side button. This upgrade makes it simpler for users to do everyday tasks by allowing them to access Gemini directly through the side button, hence improving the entire mobile AI experience for more people globally. The upgrade will be available globally beginning in early May for the newest Galaxy A series – Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G.
