On May 13, Samsung’s slimmest phone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, will make its debut. The announcement would be made early in the morning in India. Key elements of the Galaxy S25 Edge, such as its 200-megapixel primary back camera and Corning’s Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 display protection, have previously been made public by the firm. Four months following the first appearance, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is now all set for launch on May 13. With a name that dates back to prior curved screens, this phone will be very thin. What to expect?
Earlier this year, Samsung held its major 2025 Galaxy Unpacked event to introduce the Galaxy S25 lineup. As promised, three variants were offered: the S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. During the same occasion, the firm showcased its fourth and slimmest handset, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Not much, only the name and design were disclosed at the time.

Samsung claims that Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 will be a feature of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 is the result of a partnership between Corning and Samsung. A display cover called Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 has crystals placed in its glass matrix to improve durability and deflect cracks.
Reports state that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 1,440 x 3,120 pixel resolution, a variable 120Hz refresh rate, a 163g weight, and a 5.85mm thickness, making it the thinnest Galaxy S model yet. It is claimed to include a titanium frame with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 and Victus 2 on the front and back, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and IP68 dust and water resistance.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of on-board storage. It is likely to run Android 15 with One UI 7 and have a dual back camera system with a 200-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The phone might sport a 12-megapixel front camera for photos and video chats. It may support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connection, as well as a 3,900mAh battery.
There’s no denying that Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge is the most exciting phone in years, so don’t be shocked if it costs a fortune.
