Sandisk launched the WD_BLACK SN8100 NVMe SSD, the world’s fastest PCIe Gen 5.0 NVMe SSD. This cutting-edge internal SSD has speeds of up to 14,900 MB/s and storage capacities of up to 8TB, making it suitable for high-performance gaming, video production, and AI tasks.
The Sandisk WD_BLACK SN8100 NVMe PCIe Gen 5.0 SSD is intended for professionals and avid PC gamers who want superior performance and dependability. It is perfect for demanding workflows and AI applications since it has lightning-fast speeds and is 100% more power efficient than Sandisk’s high-performance PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD. This SSD is made to optimise PC performance and meet the changing demands of AI applications, 4K and 8K video, and gaming graphics.
With its PCIe Gen 5.0×4 NVMe M.2 technology, the Sandisk SSD is a premium SSD that provides improved gaming and workflow experiences. It provides over 2,300,000 IOPS1 of random performance together with sequential rates of up to 14,900MB/s1 read and 14,000MB/s1 write. With energy optimisation for peak performance, the SSD is more than 100% more power efficient than Sandisk’s PCIe Gen 4.03. Because of its 2,400TBW endurance (4TB), it can handle demanding jobs like video editing, gaming, and AI workloads. Large datasets, AI-powered apps, and expanding game libraries may all be stored on the SSD, which can also support the biggest new games and projects.
