Poco F7 5G with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC launched in India

The smartphone comes with a 7,550mAh battery.

Poco’s F-Series today got an upgrade. The company today announced a brand new entry under the series, namely Poco F7 5G. The mid-ranger comes with a monstrous 7,550mAh battery. It has a 6,000mm sq vapour cooling chamber for handling thermals and a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor. Moreover, the phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

Poco F7 5G will be available in India in two different variants. The 12GB RAM with 256GB storage options comes with a price tag of Rs 31,999, whereas the price of the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage model has been set at Rs 33,999. You can buy the handset in Cyber Silver Edition, Frost White, and Phantom Black colour options. It is planned to be available for purchase via Flipkart in the country starting July 1.

Launch offer includes a Rs 2,000 instant bank discount using HDFC, SBI, or ICICI Bank cards on the first day of the sale. Additionally, there will be a Rs 2,000 exchange bonus—applicable either independently or bundled with the bank offer. The company is also offering a 1-year free screen damage protection worth Rs 10,000 and a 1-year extended warranty, taking the total warranty coverage to 2 years.

Poco F7 5G is highlighted with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 1,280×2,772 pixels of resolution. The screen has 120Hz refresh rate support, up to 2,560Hz touch sampling rate and up to 3,200 nits brightness. The panel comes with a 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate and HDR10+ support. The screen is protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i layer. The smartphone has an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. The handset includes IP66+IP68+IP69 dust and water resistance certification as well.

The phone is driven by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC with up to 512GB of UFS4.1 storage and up to 24GB (12GB + 12GB) Turbo RAM. The phone runs on custom-built HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 out of the box. The company claimed to provide three years of major OS upgrades and four years of security fixes.

For the optics, the Poco F7 5G features a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary lens and an 8-megapixel ultrawide-angle camera. The phone comes with a 20-megapixel selfie camera up front.

Besides that, the phone has a 7,550mAh battery stuffed inside that supports 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging. The F7 uses the IceLoop cooling system to ensure steady frame rates and low latency.
