Upcoming iPhone 17 Series is expected to bring several changes: Details

Recently, a test flight to Bangladesh by a female passenger with an imitation iPhone 17 Pro unit went viral.

Rumours say that Apple will make considerable enhancements to the iPhone 17 this year, including a new camera design and hardware advancements, with dummy iPhone 17 Pro units appearing before launch. The iPhone 17 series has generated a lot of buzz, with photographs of the regular, Pro, and Max models circulating online. Apple plans to release four iPhone models in 2025: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a new iPhone 17 “Air” model.

Majin Bu, Apple’s tipster, has revealed photographs of the iPhone 17 Pro dummy unit, displaying a new rear camera design. The device is similar to the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, which have three camera sensors. The camera module has grown in size, with all three cameras housed within a thick strip. The phone also has an LED flashlight and a LiDAR scanner with its own LED light.

A major hardware update, Apple plans to add up to 12GB of RAM to all iPhone 17 variants. Fast wired and wireless charging capabilities, as well as longer battery life, are anticipated features of the new generation. The Apple A19 Pro Bionic chip, which offers increased speed and efficiency, might power the iPhone 17 Pro. The A18 chip, the same processor used in the iPhone 16 series, is probably going to be retained in the basic iPhone 17 and 17 Air.

According to Jeff Pu, all iPhone 17 series models will have a 24MP front-facing camera, which is an upgrade from the iPhone 16 model’s 12MP selfie camera. Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst for Apple, supports these predictions. Pu announced in October 2024 that the iPhone 17 Pro would feature a 48MP telephoto sensor with 3.5x optical zoom and a revamped horizontal triple-lens rear camera system.

This year, Apple is anticipated to keep the prices of its low-end iPhone models constant. According to early leaks, the iPhone 17 Air may retail for Rs 99,900, while the iPhone 17 may debut in India for Rs 89,900. It is anticipated that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will retail for Rs 1,39,900 and Rs 1,64,900, respectively. The iPhone 17 is expected to retail for approximately $899 in the United States and AED 3,799 in the United Arab Emirates.
