What to Expect from Today’s Galaxy Unpacked Event

Samsung, the South Korean electronics behemoth, is preparing the release of next-generation Galaxy handsets featuring an AI-powered UI.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 have been found on a retailer’s website, as well as the rumoured Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, which is also set to launch today.

The listings match earlier claims that the Z Fold 7 would have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the Z Flip 7 will use an Exynos 2500 processor. The phones are likely to ship with Android 16 and One UI 8 preloaded. The screenshots highlight the smartphones’ major features, including processor, cameras, display, and battery capacity. Arsène Lupin, a tipster, revealed the postings on X.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumoured to sport an 8-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner screen, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will have 6.9-inch Full-HD+ displays. A Snapdragon 8 Elite processor reportedly powers the gadget, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE are said to use the Exynos 2500 SoC, with the latter likely utilising the Exynos 2400 chip.

Samsung’s flagship foldable phone will include a triple outer camera array, including a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel camera, and a 10-megapixel camera. Both clamshell-style foldable phones will include 50-megapixel and 12-megapixel exterior cameras, as well as a 10-megapixel inside camera. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature a 4,400mAh battery, whilst the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 FE will have a 4,300mAh one. However, the specs for these clamshell-style foldable phones are almost comparable.
