Dell has unveiled the Alienware 16 and 18 Area-51 gaming laptops in India

The Area-51 notebooks feature advanced thermals, bold design, and immersive visuals, while the Aurora laptop offers top-tier performance in a sleek, compact form.

Dell Technologies and Alienware have unveiled the Alienware 16 and 18 Area-51 gaming laptops in India, exhibiting their flagship machines’ outstanding performance capabilities. Both versions have the most recent Intel Core Ultra Series CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, which provide cutting-edge speed, graphics, and efficiency. The laptops also include enhanced cooling, customisable lighting, and reliable support.

The Alienware Area-51 series, which includes the Alienware 16 and 18, has WQXGA panels with a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, resulting in vivid visuals.  The display options are amazing, with refresh rates of up to 300Hz and brightness levels of 500 nits. The new AW30 design language includes a Liquid Teal finish and a Zero Hinge design.

The redesigned Cryo-Tech cooling system increases airflow by 37%, lowers noise by up to 15%, and increases thermal capacity for cool, silent operation. The Gorilla Glass panel showcases the meticulously designed internals, while the elevated rear design enhances cooling and airflow for peak performance.

Alienware Area-51

The Area-51 series laptop has a Cherry Ultra Low-Profile keyboard, an AlienFX touchpad with customisable lighting, and four Dolby Atmos speakers. The laptop is powered by the newest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs and an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, totalling 280W of power. Thermal technologies such as the Cryo Chamber cooling system, Element 31 thermal interface, and transparent thermal shelf enable optimal performance. The 96WHr battery on the Area-51 charges faster, reaching 80% in 35 minutes and lasting longer unplugged, offering up to 35% more battery life than its predecessor.

Alienware 16X Aurora

The Alienware 16X Aurora is a laptop with up to 155W of Total Performance Power, making it ideal for gaming and demanding activities. The elegant design includes crisp lines, chamfered corners, and a cushioned palm rest for comfort. The Cryo-Chamber cooling system optimises airflow using ultra-thin fans, copper heat pipes, and strategically positioned vents. The 16-inch WQXGA display has a 240Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness, providing amazing graphics. These versions are designed for gaming and high-performance applications, with Intel Core Ultra HX CPUs and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs.

Pricing and Availability

The new Alienware 16 Area-51, Alienware 18 Area-51 will be available at a starting price of Rs 309,990 and Rs 314,990, respectively. The price of the Alienware 16 X Aurora begins at Rs 176,990. The laptops will be available for purchase via Dell.com, Dell Exclusive Stores, and large format retail partners such as Croma, Reliance Retail and Vijay Sales, along with multi-brand outlets and leading e-commerce platforms.
