It enables 18W wired reverse charging to power other smartphones and IoT devices and has a 7,000mAh battery. It will include an AI-powered 50-megapixel dual rear camera set. Xiaomi has been teasing information about the handset’s arrival, including its features.
Redmi is preparing to launch the Redmi 15 5G in India today, a 5G-ready variant of the Redmi 15 4G, which debuted in certain regions earlier this month. The handset is planned to be sold on Amazon in Frosted White, Midnight Black, and Sandy Purple, and the e-commerce giant has built a microsite for the device.
The official pricing of the Redmi 15 5G is unclear, although it is now available in select areas.
In Malaysia, the 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage option costs MYR 729 (about Rs 15,000. In India, it might cost roughly Rs 15,000.

The Redmi 15 5G is expected to include a 6.9-inch screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, potentially an HD+ LCD panel, 288Hz touch sampling rate, and Wet Touch Technology 2.0. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 CPU, have up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and run Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.

The next Redmi 15 5G smartphone is said to include a 7,000mAh battery, 18W wired reverse charging, and support for up to 55.6 hours of music streaming, 23.5 hours of YouTube playback, and 12.7 hours of BGMI gaming. It is also rumoured to have an AI-powered 50-megapixel dual rear camera, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.
