Oppo Find X9 Series global launch teased: Details

An official release date has not yet been set, but the teaser suggests a wider rollout for global markets is in the works.

The Oppo Find X9 series is set to launch in China in the third week of October. The company has just announced the launch date and released details about the global debut. The firm has also begun accepting pre-orders for the X9 series through its own online shop in China. The forthcoming flagship series will be powered by the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. Additionally, the Find X9 series will be the first to launch with ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16.

According to Oppo, the upcoming Find X9 Series is going to launch globally. The launch date has yet to be disclosed; however, the smartphone range will be revealed on October 16 in China.

Upcoming smartphones will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which has a third-generation All-Big-Core CPU architecture. The architecture lowers peak power consumption while providing 32% more single-core and 17% more multi-core performance. The smartphones will have the most recent Android 16 UI and ColorOS 16 pre-installed.

In addition to introducing Android’s first Unified Computing Power Model, which offers system-level computational modelling for the CPU, GPU, and DSU and achieves over 90% accuracy in power consumption prediction, the Find X9 series is confirmed to come with Oppo’s in-house Trinity Engine. This enhances energy optimisation across a range of user scenarios.

Console-grade ray tracing is made possible by the Arm G1-Ultra GPU, which powers the X9 Series and provides 33% greater graphics performance and 42% better power efficiency. It’s specially designed cooling mechanism guarantees steady, fluid, high-frame-rate gameplay even with taxing graphics settings.
