The last couple of months have seen some major launch events from smartphone brands across the board. In September, Apple took the wraps off its newest iPhone 17 series. The ultra-slim iPhone Air was a part of this lineup, too. Google’s flagship Pixel 10 series and Samsung’s new foldable lineup preceded Apple’s launch event. Xiaomi 17 Series
After going on sale in China, the Xiaomi 17 series will make its India debut this month. The top-spec ‘Pro Max’ model in this series is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship processor for 2026 – Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It has a 2.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display on its back panel. This display can be used to control widgets, access the viewfinder, and even play games. The 6.9-inch primary LTPO AMOLED display has a refresh rate of 120Hz and can reach a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. The rear camera array comprises a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The massive 7,500mAh Si/C battery pack supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

OnePlus 15
The new OnePlus 15 will go on sale in China this month. It is expected to make its debut in India in January. Like Xiaomi 17, it will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The design language of the back panel will be similar to the OnePlus 13s (our review here) ‘compact’ model released this year. It is expected to get a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. It remains to be seen whether this display will make it to the international version as well. The rear camera setup will consist of 3 50MP sensors. These sensors will no longer be tuned by Hasselblad. Under the hood, the smartphone will pack a 7,300mAh battery pack.

Vivo V60e
Back in August, Vivo launched its camera-centric midranger in India. Now, it is looking to add a more affordable variant to the series. The Vivo V60e is set to arrive in India in the coming weeks. It will be priced comfortably below Rs 30,000. The smartphone is expected to carry an impressive 200MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Its 6.77-inch AMOLED display will have a 120Hz refresh rate. The details about the processor will be released leading up to the launch. OS duties will be handled by the Android 15-based Functouch 15 OS. The 6,500mAh battery pack will support 90W wired charging.

Realme GT 8 Pro
Realme’s new flagship smartphone is also expected to drop this month. It will feature a swappable design for the camera island. Users will be able to unscrew the panel around the rear lenses and substitute it with a design of their choice. As of now, Realme has confirmed a round and a square panel for the camera island. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. OS duties will be handled by the Android 16-based Realme UI 7. The device will flaunt a 6.78-inch QHD OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its 7,000mAh battery pack will support 120W wired charging.

iQOO 15
iQOO has confirmed the release of its next flagship smartphone. The iQOO 15 will likely launch in India by the end of this month. It will carry a 6.85-inch 2K 8T LTPO Samsung “Everest” display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, peak local brightness of 6,000 nits, full-screen brightness of 2,600 nits, and fast touch response of 3,200Hz. At the heart of the smartphone will lie the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This processor will work in tandem with iQOO’s in-house Supercomputing Chip Q3. OS duties will be handled by the Android 16-based Funtouch 16 OS. The triple camera system will consist of 3 50MP sensors, one each for the primary shooter, ultrawide lens, and telephoto lens. The 7,000mAh battery pack will support 100W fast charging.

Oppo Find X9 Series
The Oppo Find X9 series is about to hit the stores this month. The Pro model in the lineup will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC. The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display will have a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be completely waterproof, rocking an IP68/IP69 rating for protection against dust and water. It will be immersible up to 1.5m for 30 minutes. The rear camera array will comprise a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. The massive 7,550mAh Si/C battery pack will support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Edition
Realme will be adding a ‘Game of Thrones’ special edition to its number series smartphone soon. The changes will be purely cosmetic. The back panel will flaunt a unique design inspired by the TV series. The UI will draw inspiration from the 7 major houses in the TV show. No changes will be made to the display, processor, battery or cameras. The smartphone will continue to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Its 6.8-inch OLED display has a 144Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 6,500 nits. The rear camera array comprises a 50MP primary shooter and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The 7,000mAh battery pack supports 80W wired charging.
