iQOO has announced the arrival of its latest premium gaming smartphone, the iQOO 15, in China, which includes the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU and various advancements over the iQOO 13. The phone will be available in India next month and features a 7,000mAh battery, an LTPO AMOLED display, and three 50MP cameras. The company has also stated that the handset would continue to run OriginOS rather than Funtouch OS for the Indian users, with an emphasis on performance and battery life.

The iQOO 15 sports a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED LTPO display offering 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The panel supports 2,600 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM and DC Dimming. Also, there is HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The device comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for screen unlocking. Under the hood, there is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 paired with a Q3 gaming chip. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
The handset operates on Android 16-based OriginOS 6.0 out of the box. It features a 14,000mm² vapor chamber. The smartphone has IP68/IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance and highlights a square-design rear camera island with RGB lighting.

For the photos and videos, the device has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary 1/1.56-inch sensor with OIS support. Furthermore, there is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capability and OIS. Next, there is a 50-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens helpful in taking group pictures. Lastly, up front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The iQoo gaming phone packs a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging support. In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and dual-band GPS.

The iQOO 15 is available in Track Edition, Legendary Edition, Lingyun, and Wilderness colours. It is priced at CNY 4,199 (Rs 51,889.69) for 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, CNY 4,499 (Rs 55,596.98) for 12GB RAM 512GB storage, CNY 4,699 (Rs 58,068.50) for 16GB RAM with 256GB storage, CNY 4,999 (Rs 61,771.59) for 16GB RAM with 512GB storage and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage option at CNY 5,499 (Rs 67,949.99). The Honor of Kings 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition is also available at CNY 5,499 (Rs 67,949.99).
