B by Lenskart Smartglasses announced in India

The new eyewear comes with a built-in AI assistant powered by Gemini 2.5 Live

Lenskart, India’s leading eyewear and technology lifestyle brand, has launched its AI Camera Smartglasses, B by Lenskart, marking a significant leap in the wearable computing market. This project allows India’s developer community to collaborate with Lenskart’s cutting-edge AI and camera technology, allowing for integrations with popular consumer applications and independent developers.

The move intends to transform smartglasses from simple fashion accessories into useful tools for daily usage across various categories, including food delivery, entertainment, and fitness. Lenskart is establishing itself at the forefront of the wearable technology industry by opening up its technological ecosystem, allowing for a revolutionary experience that combines creative eyewear with usefulness and utility in everyday life.

The upcoming product, B by Lenskart, is scheduled for availability in December 2025 and is created with the belief that smartglasses should primarily serve as eyewear. Weighing only 40 grams, this device is about 20% lighter than comparable smartglasses on the market, emphasising comfort for regular usage while maintaining technological capabilities.
