Sennheiser SoundProtex Plus earplugs with acoustic filters launched in India

SoundProtex Plus is ideal for use during loud concerts, festivals, when travelling, or in other noisy environments, since it gives listeners clear and balanced audio while also protecting their hearing.

Sennheiser has officially released the SoundProtex Plus in India, a superior hearing protection solution that allows users to securely enjoy high-quality sound in a variety of settings. It has three acoustic filters and a Full Block mode, making it suitable for a variety of environments, including concerts, travel, everyday commutes, and quiet offices. SoundProtex Plus is made of soft, medical-grade TPE and comes in a variety of sizes. It claims all-day comfort and reusability.

SoundProtex Plus improves on the original SoundProtex by delivering three distinctive levels of acoustic filters: High (20 dB signal-to-noise ratio), Medium (17 dB), and Low (10 dB). This variation allows users to choose the most appropriate sound attenuation for their unique surroundings, whether they are watching high-energy live performances, engaging in motorsports, commuting, or requiring tranquillity at work. The device also incorporates a Full Block Filter, which delivers perfect silence, making it excellent for peaceful settings like sleeping or swimming.

The SoundProtex Plus ear tips are made of soft, medical-grade thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) to ensure user comfort. They are skin-friendly, reusable, and free of plasticisers, which improves their usage. The ear tips come in three different sizes to provide a secure and comfortable fit for extended usage. A novel vented open-air passage has been included in the design to minimise the painful “plugged-ear” sensation, allowing for longer listening sessions with ease.
