Oppo introduced new Velvet Red colour options for Find X9

The phone is already available in two colours.

OPPO India has launched a new Velvet Red colour variant for the Find X9, expanding the Find X9 Series. The device debuted in the Indian market 10 days ago, on November 18. The lineup includes two models: Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. Both models were initially introduced in two colour options. Both smartphones are powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 processor.

The Find X9 was released in India in two colours: space black and titanium grey. The newly announced Velvet Red Find X9 will be available in a 12GB RAM with a 256GB storage option for Rs 74,999. Sales for this model will begin on December 8 and will be available through the OPPO India e-store, Flipkart, and authorised retail partners. Customers can purchase the Find X9 at a reduced effective price of Rs 67,499 by taking advantage of bank offers, as well as receive additional exchange benefits.

Customers may take advantage of several discounts on the OPPO Find X9 Series. The device was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 74,999 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is also an enhanced model available for Rs 84,999 that has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The Oppo Find X9 Pro, on the other hand, is positioned at the top of the lineup, available only in a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage for Rs 109,999.

Specifications, Features

The Find X9 has a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with a resolution of 2760×1256 pixels. The screen supports a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz to provide seamless visual performance. Furthermore, its ProXDR displays are HDR-ready, supporting a variety of high dynamic range formats such as HDR Vivid, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. These displays also provide a handy full-screen Always-On Display (AOD) feature, which improves convenience and functionality.

In terms of brightness, it has an excellent global peak brightness of 1800 nits and a local peak brightness capacity of up to 3600 nits across 20% of the screen surface. In terms of durability, it meets IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards, demonstrating high resistance to dust and water ingress.

Under the hood, there is a strong MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which improves their performance capabilities. It runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16, which delivers a user-friendly interface augmented with a slew of AI-powered productivity and imaging capabilities aimed at improving user experience and efficiency.

The handset boasts a 7,025mAh battery, which enables 80W wired fast charging, providing speedy power replenishment.

The X9 has an amazing camera system consisting of three 50-megapixel sensors designed to meet a variety of photography purposes. The primary sensor, a Sony LYT-828, is intended to record high-quality photographs, whilst the second 50-megapixel sensor, the Sony LYT-600, functions as a periscope telephoto camera, allowing users to take crisp photos from a distance. The handset also contains a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultrawide camera, which provides a wider viewpoint for landscape and group photos. The front-facing camera has a 32-megapixel sensor, which allows for excellent and detailed self-portraits.
