Realme Buds Air 8 confirmed to be released alongside Realme 16 Pro Series in India

The upcoming device will be available for purchase on realme.com and Flipkart following launch.

Realme has announced the January 6 launch of the 16 Pro+ 5G and 16 Pro 5G smartphones in India, which will feature a 200-megapixel back camera and proprietary LumaColor Image technology with AI camera capabilities. In addition, the Realme Buds Air 8, created in collaboration with Naoto Fukusawa, will be introduced with the phones, including Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and will be available for purchase on Flipkart and the company’s website.

Realme is set to expand its audio ecosystem with the release of the Buds Air 8 on January 6, which coincides with the launch of the realme 16 Pro series. The earbuds were created in partnership with famous designer Naoto Fukasawa, with a design philosophy that emphasises simplicity, comfort, and modern aesthetics, aimed at young, tech-savvy customers. The Air 8 is marketed as an “AI-Powered Sound Master with Best-in-Class ANC” (Active Noise Cancellation), promising to provide an immersive listening experience through advanced noise cancellation, improved sound depth, and smart AI capabilities tailored for daily use, embodying the concept of “The Ultimate AI Sound Master.”

According to the company, the Buds Air 8 have AI-driven audio intelligence, which improves voice clarity, noise control, and adaptable sound for music, calls, and entertainment. The device highlights Realme’s commitment to offering cutting-edge audio technology while increasing the listening experience through intelligent enhancements.

On the other hand, a dedicated webpage from Flipkart and fresh X teasers from Realme reveal that both the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G will include a primary back camera with 200 megapixels. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will also have a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It will enable 4K HDR video recording at multiple zoom levels, including 1x, 2x, 3.5x, 7x, and 10x, as well as dual-focal 4K video at 60 fps for 1x and 3.5x. The front camera can capture 4K video at 60 fps. The Realme 16 Pro series will arrive with Realme UI 7.0, which is based on Android 16.
