With AI still finding its place in home products, this year felt like a glimpse into the future. As we reach the end of the year, we thought we’d take a look back at some of our favourite releases in the last 12 months. Here are our top 10 home appliances and gadgets of 2025.

Sony Bravia Home Theatre System 6
The Sony Bravia Home Theatre System 6 can liven up your living room with a premium 5.1 channel surround sound. The 1,000W audio output is clear, detailed, and has a rich texture. The HT-S60 setup comprises a soundbar, a subwoofer, and rear speakers that are able to reach every corner of the room. The Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support brings the best out of movies and TV shows. Paired with a Sony Bravia TV, this speaker setup offers ‘Voice Zoom 3’, which boosts the voice of the speakers of the scene, enabling you to hear them clearly, even in loud action scenes.
Amazon Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen)
The 3rd-generation Echo Show 5 hit the market in July this year. The bedside smart speaker makes key upgrades in design, audio, visuals, and home monitoring. Its 5.5-inch smart display can relay the footage from your CCTV cameras as well as stream movie titles from streaming services like Prime Video. Its accessible interface makes it easy to control the smart devices in your house without getting up from bed. It has a built-in camera which serves as a home monitor. Using the ‘Drop In’ feature, you can check what’s going on in your room at any given time. The 1.7-inch rear-facing speaker produces a rich audio output with a healthy dose of bass.
Amkette Sleep Speaker N100
If the loud sounds from the street pour into your room, making it hard to fall asleep, you will like the Amkette Sleep Speaker N100. The white noise generated by this device fills the room and makes the outside noises less harsh. There are 16 calming soundscapes (including white noise and nature sounds) and 8 gentle music tracks pre-loaded on the device. The audio output is delivered by a 52mm driver. The 6-level night light sets the right ambience for a deep sleep. The compact form factor of the device makes it the ideal travel device as well.
Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO
Water purifiers aren’t really flashy enough to end up in year-end lists, but the Aquaguard Ritz Pro RO really stood out for us this year. Its sleek and compact body is crafted from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene and weighs just 7kg. The small display panel shows real-time TDS levels entering and exiting the device. The filter life and water intake can be tracked with the Eureka Forbes app. The 5-litre steel tank is a much better option than the plastic water storage tanks in most purifiers. The Ritz Pro uses a 9-stage purification process to cleanse the water of bacteria, viruses, and other harmful particles. Its purification setup comprises a Mega Sediment Filter, High Recovery RO membrane cartridge, UV purification, and the 3-in-1 Active Copper technology. Dreame MOVA K10 Pro
The Dreme MOVA K10 Pro has a compact size, a powerful motor, and a form factor that can reach inaccessible spots, making it one of the best vacuum cleaners of the year. The device weighs 4.7kg, which is slightly heavier than an average handheld vacuum. The LED panel displays the cleaning mode, battery level, and the amount of accumulated dirt. The clean water tank has a 890ml capacity, while the used water tank holds up to 600ml. The 15kPa suction power cleans the most stubborn debris and dirt particles. Whirlpool Intellifresh Pro 308L
The Whirlpool Intellifresh Pro refrigerator has a 308-litre storage capacity. If you’ve got more stuff to store, the freezer can be converted into an extra cooling compartment for your groceries. The Intellifresh Pro offers up to 40% faster bottle cooling and up to 7 days of dairy freshness. It prevents excessive ripening of fruits and limits up to 99.99% of bacterial growth. Samsung Bespoke AI Refrigerator (RT38DG5A4DS8HL)
The 350-litre model in Samsung’s Bespoke AI refrigerator range stood out for us this year. Its 350L storage capacity is suitable for families with 3-4 members. Its annual energy consumption comes out to 243kWh per year. Samsung offers a 1-year comprehensive warranty and a 20-year warranty on the digital inverter compressor. This compressor consumes 50% less power and has a very faint operational noise. There are a total of 2 compartments on this fridge: a 275-litre fresh food storage unit and a 75-litre freezer. There are 3 toughened glass shelves and 1 vegetable drawer in the cooling section. The fridge is packed with features like AI Energy Mode, Twin Cooling Plus, SmartThings connectivity, power freeze, and more.
Samsung Bespoke AI Washer Dryer
Samsung’s Bespoke AI washer dryer has a 12kg washing and 7kg drying capacity. Its AI Ecobubble and AI Energy modes deliver deep cleaning and efficient drying without spending too much energy. The washer gives 45% better fabric care, 70% energy savings, and up to 54% less microplastics. The powerful electric motor at the heart of this device can spin at 1,400rpm. The AI Wash feature senses the clothing by fabric weight and softness, thereby offering powerful cleaning with less water and detergent usage. The Air Wash feature keeps clothes fresh and deodorised without using water.
Honeywell Move Pure 5
In a year when the Air Quality Index reached new heights, the Honeywell Move Pure 5 came in quite clutch. This air purifier’s filtration system is able to capture 99.99% of PM2.5 & PM10 particles, allergens, and microscopic pollutants. The small display panel shows the PM2.5 levels in real-time. The advanced 4-in-1 filter on this device comprises a pre-filter, a nano silver anti-bacterial filter, an H12 HEPA filter, and formaldehyde removal crystals. It is also able to get rid of unwanted odour, smoke, dust, allergens, microscopic pollutants, VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), and harmful bacteria.
CP Plus Z45Q
The CP Plus Z45Q was one of our favourite home security devices of the year. This 4MP WiFi CCTV camera captures and relays detailed footage with crystal-clear video quality. It is ideal for outdoor use in commercial and personal premises. It is capable for motorized 360° pan and 96° tilt movements, completely eliminating blind spots. The Smart Motion Detection feature sends you instant alerts on your phone whenever the camera notices human activity in front of it. The 12 white LEDs (8–10m range), along with IR LEDs (15m range), provide colourful footage at night.
