The recently launched Realme 16 Pro Series is now up for sale in the Indian market. The lineup consists of two models: Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G. The 16 Pro 5G model features a 6.78-inch display, while the Pro+ variation has a slightly larger 6.8-inch AMOLED screen. The Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Generation 4 SoC, while the Pro is powered by the Dimensity 7300 Max SoC.

Realme introduced the Realme 16 Pro 5G and the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. The Realme 16 Pro 5G starts at Rs 31,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the 256GB option costs Rs 33,999. The top option, which includes 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, costs Rs 36,999. Realme is offering a bank discount of Rs 3,000 or an exchange bonus of Rs 5,000 for consumers who buy the phone through Flipkart, as well as an additional Rs 1,000 advantage for existing Realme customers.
In contrast, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G costs Rs 39,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and Rs 41,999 for the 256GB variant. The highest option, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, costs Rs 44,999. Flipkart consumers receive an instant bank discount of Rs 4,000, while existing Realme customers receive an extra Rs 1,000 advantage on their purchase.

The Pro+ model has a high-resolution 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a pixel count of 1,280×2,800, allowing for an amazing maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz. Furthermore, it has an excellent touch sampling rate of up to 240 Hz, which improves responsiveness while in use. With a maximum brightness of 6,500 nits, the display guarantees visibility in bright environments. It supports the full DCI/P3 colour gamut and can render 1.07 billion different colours, resulting in a rich and colourful viewing experience.

In comparison, the 16 Pro has a comparatively smaller display (6.78 inches) with a resolution of 1,272×2,772 pixels. Although its peak brightness is slightly lower (1,400 nits), it has a pixel density of 450 ppi. Notably, the Realme 16 Pro 5G matches the Pro+ model in terms of the highest refresh rate and DCI-P3 colour gamut, giving consumers comparable smooth visuals and colour performance but with a lower peak brightness and a slightly lower resolution.
The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.8 GHz and an Adreno 722 GPU, while the Realme 16 Pro 5G is driven by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Max 5G chipset and an Arm Mali G615. Both versions are dust and water-resistant with IP66, IP68, and IP69K certifications, and they run Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.

Both devices have nearly identical camera specifications, including a primary rear camera with a resolution of 200 megapixels and an aperture of f/1.8, backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with an aperture of f/2.2. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G variant has an extra 50-megapixel telephoto camera with an aperture of f/2.8. The Pro+ model can also capture video in 4K quality at a frame rate of up to 60 fps. Both variants have a 50-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.4.
