Vivo has officially announced when the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite will be available in India. The Elite model is said to have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, while the basic Vivo V70 will have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. The camera modules on the Vivo V70 series will be square-shaped and include three cameras on the back that are powered by Zeiss. It is expected that the Vivo V70 would have a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen.

Vivo V70 series India launch details

Vivo will release the Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 in India on February 19 at 12 p.m. local time. This news comes after the company teased the imminent arrival of two new Vivo V series smartphones in India. There are now dedicated microsites for the Vivo V70 series, which means that these devices will be sold on Flipkart, Amazon, and the Vivo India online shop.

The manufacturer has also shared information on the devices’ specs, features, design, and colour options. It is said that smartphones have the thinnest bezels at 1.25 mm in the under-Rs 50,000 pricing range. This fits with speculations that the phones will cost less than Rs 55,000 in India.

The Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite will look the same. The Vivo V70 Elite may have a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera on the front and has bezels that are not very thick. They probably have a square camera island with three cameras on the back and an LED flash. The Vivo logo is on the lower left corner of the rear panel, while the power button and volume rockers are likely on the right side of the device.

The Elite variant is going to use a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, while the standard model may have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. Both models will probably have a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Zeiss tuning will make these cameras even better.
