LG Essential Series Air Conditioners with a Smart Inverter Compressor for Indian homes launched

This line of products fits with LG India's "Made in India, Made for India" vision and meets the Bureau of Energy Efficiency's 2026 Star Rating standards.

LG Electronics India has introduced the Essential Series air conditioners, specifically designed for Indian homes. These units have a Smart Inverter Compressor and Variable Tonnage Technology that make cooling more effective and less distracting. You can change six modes, some of which save energy. The air conditioners have a Gold Fin+ coating and 100% copper tubes, which makes them strong and functional without the need for a stabiliser.

LG Electronics India Limited (LGEIL) has unveiled a new air conditioner in its Essential Series. This type can handle challenges that are common in the region, like extreme weather, high humidity, and power outages. It has Smart Inverter Technology and Variable Tonnage Technology, which help it cool down quickly and quietly while using less energy.

The new air conditioner has LG’s Smart Inverter Compressor, which regulates the speed of the compressor based on how much cooling is needed. This makes it work faster, use less energy, and be quieter. It uses Variable Tonnage Technology to cool things down quickly at first, and then it slows down the compressor to keep the inside temperature consistent. There is a 10-year warranty on the inverter compressor.

The air conditioner has LG’s Convertible 6-in-1 solution, which lets users pick from six modes of operation that are best for their cooling and energy demands. Diet mode cuts down on power use for everyday use, and Active Energy Control gives you four ways to regulate power. VIRAAT mode increases cooling power by up to 109% in hot weather, and it works at temperatures as low as 18°C. Smart Care mode makes things more comfortable by automatically changing the temperature and airflow based on user patterns and indoor conditions.

The air conditioner uses LG’s Gold Fin+ anti-corrosion technology to protect it from rust and other damage in India’s changing climate. It does this by applying a double coating. It has 100% copper tubes that make it less likely to corrode. The unit’s stabiliser-free design also lets it work without an external voltage stabiliser, and it can handle voltages from 140V to 295V.
