Samsung teases creative camera and privacy capabilities ahead of Galaxy S26 Series launch

The upcoming smartphone series is now available for pre-reservation.

Samsung will host its Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25, where it is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 series. The event is anticipated to showcase innovative features, including a new camera experience that allows users to transform photos and edit objects seamlessly with simple commands.

Samsung has introduced a YouTube teaser showcasing the innovative Galaxy AI content creation features. The teaser highlights transformative capabilities that allow users to effortlessly edit images by converting a photo from day to night within seconds. Additionally, it demonstrates the ability to restore missing parts of objects in images, such as a bite taken out of a cake. Users can now seamlessly merge multiple photos into one coherent image. These advanced creative functions, which previously demanded professional editing skills and substantial time, are now streamlined to become achievable in mere minutes, all through simple voice commands on a Galaxy phone.

In another YouTube teaser, Samsung is showcasing a new ‘zero-peeking’ privacy display feature slated for its upcoming Galaxy S26 series smartphones. The 15-second video demonstrates this feature in action, where a user on a metro train activates the privacy display to prevent onlookers from viewing their screen, even from side angles.

The teasers conclude with the tagline, “Can your phone do that?”

According to the company, this development promotes a smoother creative workflow, reducing the need for multiple applications and complex tools. It emphasises that creativity should be accessible to everyone, allowing them to create cinematic videos, track celestial bodies, or take detailed photos even in low-light conditions. Simple verbal descriptions make editing intuitive.
