On the performance side of things, the gadget will be powered by Samsung’s powerful 3nm Exynos 2500 processor and run on the latest version of One UI. Samsung promises to maintain the gadget for seven years with Android OS and security upgrades, which is a good sign that it will have a solid support system over its life cycle. The Galaxy S26 FE will also include AI features that were passed down from the flagship series, with innovative features like Horizontal Lock, My FanCam and Audio Eraser, which enhance user engagement and the shooting experience.

Up front, a 12MP selfie camera is likely to let you take high-quality selfies and video calls.

The gadget is tipped to have a 4,900mAh silicon-carbon battery which is said to provide an estimated use period of up to 50 hours on a single charge. The battery is rated for 1,200 charge cycles, which is promising for lifespan. The charging capabilities will consist of 45W wired fast charging, 15W wireless and 15W reverse wireless power sharing, so consumers have versatile power choices.
